Using a block to create my background..

I wanted to make a different background so I stamped my D Block with three different fall colors and randomly placed them onto my Very Vanilla Card Stock.  The colors I used were Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, and Cajun Craze.

I then stamped my large Maple Leaf in Early Espresso Ink and added my sentiment to the bottom.  To add a bit more to the card I took out my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and added the lines to the top of the card.

You can see the difference in the amount of  color in my block stamping.  My Cajun Craze ink pad is still the old style and didn't pick up as much ink as my newer pads, but I like the random look it gave.

The following were used:
Card Stock:  Very Vanilla #101650
Ink:  Early Espresso #126974, Crushed Curry #131173, Pear Pizzazz #131180, Cajun Craze #126965
Stamp Sets: Magnificent Maple #131868 w (Holiday Catalog), Express Yourself #130336 w or #130339 c (Hostess Set)
Tools:  Simply Scored Scoring Tool #122334, Block D #118485
