Dyed Egg Cartons

Here is my "Spritzed" Egg Carton, just a bit different from the one I posted on Friday.

The picture is a little light, but in person the spritzed Bermuda Bay Egg Carton looks really pretty.  I filled the inside with candy and stamped my Easter eggs, flowers, and sentiment, all from the Basket Bunch Stamp Set, and used some Basket Builder Framelit Dies to decorate the front.

To fill your Stampin' Spritzer you need some water or rubbing alcohol and your favorite ink refill. You adjust how light or dark you want your project to be by putting in either more or less drops of ink.

Mini Egg Cartons

Basket Bunch Bundle and Mini Egg Cartons for a special Easter Treat!

The new Mini Egg Cartons in the Occasions Catalog are really nice for holding some Easter Treats.  Of course you can use them for so many other uses but with Easter just right around the corner I already started thinking of some new cute treat ideas for my Spring Craft Fairs and new things to give my grandchildren too!

I cut pieces of Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper to decorate the front and inside of the carton.  I then used the Basket Bunch Stamp Set and Basket Builder Framelit Dies (purchase together to save you 10%), to decorate the rest of the carton.  I filled it with some Easter Eggs and chocolate candy, but you can use any type of small candy or product to fill the inside.

You can also color the cartons using a Stampin'  Spritzer and a few drops of your favorite ink color.  I will work on that next and post that soon.

Birthday Bright Project Kit Video

If you like to put together kits the Birthday Bright Project Kit in the Occasions Catalog makes 12 cards, 4 each of 3 designs, and also makes 12 gift tags, 4 each of 3 designs.  It comes with all of the materials to put the cards together, with the exception of a stamp set.  The Birthday Bright Stamp Set coordinates with the kit and both can be found on page 13 of the Annual Catalog.  Below is a video done by Stampin' Up! that shows the kit and how to put it together.

Note:  If you are on a tight budget, the kit by itself is a great value.  12 cards and 12 gift tags for $28.00.  You can use sets you already have to complete the kit and while the coordinating stamp set is really cute and works great with the kit, you can purchase just the kit and still finish all of the projects with stamp set you already own.

Bear Hugs

Another versatile set in the Annual Catalog called Bear Hugs can be used for not only a cute Valentine card but mother's day, birthday, baby, father's day, thinking of you and more.  I paired this up with some of the new Valentine paper in the Occasions Catalog for another Valentine card that was offered at this month's stamp class.

My card base of Whisper White was layered with a piece of Chocolate Chip Card Stock and Sending Love Designer Series Paper.   The bear was cut out with the coordinating Bear Hug Framelits and placed onto my retired red ribbon using Dimensionals.  I punched my sentiment out with the Classic Label Punch and completed the card by punching a few small hearts (retired punch).

My Thinlit and Framelit Display / Storage System

I know we all have our own ways to set up our stamping space, but I thought I would share with you my thinlit and framelit display.  What you see are 6 wood boards measuring 1' x 2 ' that are each covered with a 1' x 2' roll of magnetic tape that I purchased at a local craft store.  My husband mounted them onto my studio wall for me and as you can see I can now display all of my products above the table I use for my die cutting.  When I hold a class I put the materials that we will be using directly onto the table in clear cases for easy access.

This has freed up a lot of space and I like being able to see all of my products at once, instead of looking for them in cases.  I find that the more organized I am the easier it is to conduct classes and to create.  I would love to hear from any of you who have a different way of storing and displaying your products, and feel free to comment below.

Bloomin' Heart Thinlits

Don't forget about your Bloomin' Heart Thinlits in the Annual Catalog for your Valentine cards. When a new catalog comes out I sometimes forget that I already have a lot of current product that I can use for the holidays that are dominant in the new mini catalogs.  I paired the cut heart with a piece of Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper which is also in the Annual Catalog. My sentiment from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set was punched out using the Classic Label Punch.

To finish the card I used some retired ribbon and candy dots for a bit more embellishment.
