Pretty Butterflies

The small butterflies in the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper look so much like the butterflies in the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set.  What makes it really nice is that they coordinate with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.   So after adding my paper, I stamped my small butterflies in coordinating ink and added my sentiment from the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set directly onto a cut So Detailed Thinlit Die.

Note -  The So Detailed Thinlits Dies all have a small added edge to make it easy to fold and adhere your cut thinlit to your project.  For this card I didn't need to wrap the edge around a layer so I just cut it off.

Easy Easter Treat Bag

If you like to make Easter treat bags here is an easy one to do.  Using some retired and current products I was able to make this quick Easter bunny bag to use with my "Bunny Peeps".  Yes, the Top Note Die is retired, as well as the bags, but if you still have these items you can create this bag in a no time.

For the bunny ears you can use the current Oval Framelits or use your retired Oval Punches like I did. The eyes are the 1/2" and 3/4" circle punches, and the nose is the 3/4" circle punch.   But, what I really like is the sentiment at the top of the bag.  Did you know you can bend your photopolymer stamps making it easy to use with your punches.  That is what I did for the sentiment at the top.  I wanted to use it with the Duet Banner punch so I took my stamp and bent it so it would fit perfectly.

I will list the current products below.

Falling in Love Anniversary Card

If you are looking for the perfect designer paper for wedding and anniversary cards make sure to check out the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper.  The soft colors and designs make such pretty backgrounds.  Just add your sentiment and a few other touches and you have a card that anyone would like to receive.

In addition to my Designer Series Paper I added one of the new Lace Doilies as well as a bow made with some FREE 3/8" Metallic Ribbon.  This ribbon comes in a combo pack and has one roll with silver accents and one with gold accents.  This ribbon is just one of the great items you can select for Free with any $50 Stampin' Up! order.

I also heat embossed my "happy anniversary" to give it a bit more elegance and sponged my framelit to give it a soft look.

Tip:  To adhere my doily I took my Silicone Craft Sheet and put on a few drops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and using a piece of my Stampin' Sponge I rubbed the sponge in the glue and then rubbed the sponge onto the back of the doily.  This is a really quick way to adhere larger intricate items.

Note -  Sale-a-bration ends March 31st.

So Detailed Thinlits Dies

If you want to add some elegance to your cards or projects, the So Detailed Thinlits Dies are just beautiful.  You can purchase them with the So In Love Stamp Set as a bundle to save you 10%.

After I cut out my thinlit, I added it to a layer of Very Vanilla Card Stock, and then placed this whole layer onto a my Very Vanilla Card Base.  The reason I added this layer was to make it easy to adhere the thinlit.  When you cut it not only do you have the pretty details, but it also cuts a long strip of solid card stock so that you can attach it easily under the layer.  I also took a cut piece of a Stampin' Sponge and using a dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue which I placed onto my Silicone Craft Sheet I rubbed the glue onto the back of my thinlit.  The glue doesn't show through and you get nice coverage on your paper.  You could also use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen but since the surface area to cover was large I thought the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a sponge was easier.

I also added a few pearls along the edges for a bit more embellishment and stamped my flowers and sentiment to finish my card.

Masculine Birthday

I used a piece of the Urban Underground Designer Series Paper and some of it's coordinating colors to create my masculine birthday card.  The new Hexagons Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder created a nice sturdy background for my layers and added a lot of dimension.

I also used one of the Stitched Shape Framelits for my ship wheel and sentiment, and remember that even though they don't show up in any of the catalogs you can order them now and don't have to wait for the new Annual Catalog in June to get them.
