Blossoms in Bloom

For my Open House, I made three different style of cards showcasing the Bloosoms in Bloom Stamp Set and coordinating Many Layered Blossoms Dies.  Here is the first one.

I used a piece of new Just Jade Card Stock for my layer, and then cut the fuller flower die with another piece of Just Jade and placed it over my card front.  Using the new Adhesive Sheets made it really easy to adhere to my card.  I tied a piece of new Bumblebee Ribbon to my card and added my Get Well Sentiment to the top.

Tomorrow I will post my second card showing the versatility of this set.  Remember you can purchase the stamp set and die in bundle to save 10%.  Number for the bundle is #154123.

Trick or Tweet

With Halloween right around the corner

The cute cat in the "Trick or Tweet" stamp set makes a nice Halloween Card, but take away the pumpkin, change the sentiment and background paper and you also have a nice Get Well card.  Think outside the box when you look at your stamp sets and supplies, because you never know what other types of cards or projects you can make with what you have.

Lovely Floral Embossing Folder

The new Lovely Floral Embossing Folder is a nice size, and you can use it instead of stamped images for the center of your card.  I used Sponge Daubers to add color to the flowers and stems, and placed it onto coordinating card stock.  What a simple, yet elegant card that is quick and easy to make.  A nice card for both a beginner and advanced stamper.

My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.  If you are looking for a set with a lot of sentiments, this one is great.  It has 32 stamps and can be purchased in either wood or clear.

Just Add Color!

With the new Stampin' Blends, which will be available on November 1st, you can just add color!  I took a small piece of Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper and using my Stampin' Blends I was able to get all of this color.  I love how easy they are to use and love the contrast they add to your project.

The Designer Series Paper can be yours for free too.  Don't forget that the Buy 3 get 1 FREE paper promotion ends October 31st and if you want this pretty paper, which is great for coloring, why not get a few packs of your other favorite Designer Series Papers and select this one as your free choice.

Tranquil Tulips

For today's card I used the hostess stamp set Tranquil Tulips.  To earn this set at a great discount, you can have a workshop with some friends, or order $150 in products for yourself.  That might sound like a lot of product for yourself, but with the holidays upon us in just a few short months, if you have any stampers or crafters on your list why not start doing some early shopping and this set can be yours for only $10.00.

This is a two-step stamp set and the colors I used for my flowers are Berry Burst and Powder Pink.  You get a nice shaded look, and for a bit of color under my layer I added a small piece of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.

Adding lots of layers give your cards a nice look and just make them large enough to fit your stamped images.

Beautiful You

I love creating backgrounds for the Beautiful You stamp set.  I wanted the lady to look like she was dancing on the sand so I used one of the textured stamps from the Touches of Texture stamp sets and blended some other colors using my ink pads and an Aqua Painter.  I did this directly onto Whisper White Card Stock, but you could also use Water Color Paper which will dry quicker.

The colors I used are Soft Sky, Peekaboo Peach, and Crumb Cake.  For the lady and the sentiment I used my Archival Black Ink Pad so the colors wouldn't run.
