Graceul Glass Designer Vellum

The Graceful Glass Designer Vellum comes in 6" x 6" sheets - 2 each of 12 single-sided designs.  It can be used in so many ways to add a beautiful accent to your card or project.  There is a Graceful Glass Suite of products on pages 164-165 of the Annual Catalog that pair so nicely together, and the stamp set and thinlits can be purchased in a bundle to save you 10%.

For my sympathy card I cut one of the pieces to measure 5 1/2" x 2" for my layer, leaving me 2 more pieces from this one sheet that I can use on another card.

You can color your vellum on the back side if you want to add more dimension, but for my sympathy card I left it the way it is.  I just added a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to the back of my cut piece, and layered this onto a piece of Basic Black Card Stock.  To adhere the vellum I used my Tear & Tape Adhesive.



In addition to my vellum layer, I embossed my Lemon Lime Twist card with the Garden Trellis embossing folder, and I colored my flowers using my 2017-2019 In Color Markers, and placed them onto my card using Dimensionals.  My sentiment was punched out with the Banner Triple Punch.

Graceful Glass Video by Stampin' Up!


The Graceful Glass suite by Stampin' Up! is so versatile.  You can color it with your Stampin' Blends or Markers, leave it as it, and decorate your projects in so many ways. Brian, from Stampin' Up!, shows you the products that make up the Graceful Glass suite, as well as several ideas and different ways to color the vellum.

Graceful Glass

Graceful Glass Designer Vellum is 6" x 6" and has 24 sheets, 2 each of 12 designs, and it coordinates with the Graceful Glass Suite that is on pages 164-165 on the Annual Catalog.

As you can see by my two cards below you can color the vellum or leave it as it is.  These two pieces were cut from one of the 6 x 6 sheets.  With this particular design you get 4 of the stained glass circles on one sheet.

I colored the back side of the vellum using my Stampin' Blends.  


On this card I just placed the vellum onto my layer.

Tip:  I have found that the easiest way to adhere the vellum is to take my Multipurpose Liquid Glue, put some onto my Silicone Craft Sheet, and using part of a Stampin' Sponge that I clip with a clothes pin to keep my fingers from getting sticky, I place the glue right onto the sponge and then rub it on the back side of the vellum.  You can't see the glue and it goes on smoothly.

Lovely Floral Embossing Folder

The new Lovely Floral Embossing Folder is a nice size, and you can use it instead of stamped images for the center of your card.  I used Sponge Daubers to add color to the flowers and stems, and placed it onto coordinating card stock.  What a simple, yet elegant card that is quick and easy to make.  A nice card for both a beginner and advanced stamper.



My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.  If you are looking for a set with a lot of sentiments, this one is great.  It has 32 stamps and can be purchased in either wood or clear.
