What are cling stamps!

Since the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog will be here soon, I thought I would share this video that talks about the new Cling Stamps.  In the current catalog we had wood, clear, or photopolymer stamps, and in the Occasions Catalog, Stampin' Up! introduced the new "Cling Stamp".

In the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, cling stamps will replace clear stamps which will give you much better hold on your clear block.  The stamps might look the same when you first get them, but there really is a difference, so I thought I would share this Stampin' Up! video showing you all about the new "Cling Stamps".

Cling Stamps coming soon!

Great news!  Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, Stampin' Up! will be introducing Cling Stamps.

Here are a few details:
  • Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
  • Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog (the current catalog) will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
  • Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog.
  •  In the 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount
When you purchase the new Cling Stamps there will be a flyer inside each kit showing you how to mount your sets.  One thing I will make sure to let all of my customers know is that you need to be extra careful when placing your label onto your stamp.  Since they cling so well, once the label is on it would be very hard to reposition without possibly tearing your stamp.

Another little bit of information I learned from other demonstrators is you can use the extra pieces of the cling sheet that will be left over after mounting your stamps and place it onto your current clear stamps.  This will help them adhere better as well.

You  will also need to be careful when taking the stamp off of the block.  All of this will be a learning curve, but I know in the end I will be very happy to have a stamp that sticks so well and will be great with the Stamparatus as well.

You can see this short video made by Stampin' Up! that shows you a little bit more.  Click here to watch.

When the Occasion and Sale-a-bration catalogs come out, you will see more about these new stamps and I will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  Just leave a comment below if you have any concerns or questions.
