A Good Man

I made this for a birthday card, but I think it would also make a great retirement card as well.  I started with a card base of Whisper White Card Stock where I stamped my background image.  I used the Waterfront Set and Balmy Blue, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Ink to create it.

Next I cut out my frame using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, added my relaxing man and my sentiment and placed all of this over my background.

Another Sailing Home Card

Petal Garden Day 3 - Masculine Cards

I know I posted a lot of flowery cards the last two days, but I wanted to show that the Petal Garden DSP can also be used for masculine cards as well.  Because the paper has two different designs on each sheet, just use the side that is appropriate for the type of card you are making.  It doesn't all have to be flowers, even though I really like that side of the paper too.

I also used some of my left over scraps to add dimension to the card on the right.  Along with my stamped sentiments, some ribbon, and a few Tutti-frutti Sequins, I didn't add much else to these cards.

Bubble Over Bundle

On Monday I posted the Stampin' Up! video showing you the Bubble Over Stamp Set and Bottles & Bubbles Framelits dies that will be carrying over into the new Annual Catalog in June.  Here is a card I made using the set.  I also used a piece of the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper for my layer.  This paper can still be yours for FREE until the end of the month because it is one of the Sale-a-bration products being offered during the promotion.  

I used a piece of Lemon Lime Twist Card Stock for my card base and layered it with a piece of Dapper Denim Card Stock and Bubbles & Fizz DSP.  My bottles were stamped in coordinating inks, cut out with the Framelits and placed onto my layer.  I used some retired Dapper Denim ribbon for a bit more embellishment.
