Peaceful Poinsettia



The Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp Set and Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies can be purchased in a bundle to save you 10%. 

For my card front I cut a layer of Whisper White Card Stock with my thinlits and layered it over small pieces of Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow Card Stock so the color would show through the cut out.  I used Dimensionals to raise the layer and place it on my card base.  I sponged Mossy Meadow ink around the edges, and also used Mossy Meadow ink and a Sponge Dauber to color my ribbon.  A few retired rain drops were placed on the card for a bit more dimension.

Signs of Santa

If you make cards for young children, or the young at heart, the Signs of Sants Stamp Set and coordinating Santa's Signpost Framelit Dies are perfect.  I love the images, which are perfect for coloring to add your own personal touch.  I paired my Santa up with a piece of All is Bright Designer Series paper, but the Santa's Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper coordinates with this stamp set perfectly too.

Gold Embossed Holiday Card

When I saw this sheet of All is Bright Designer Series Paper with the gold holiday ornaments, I thought right away that I wanted to pair it up with a nice gold embossed sentiment, and my gold ribbon.  I used the large sentiment in the Merry Christmas To All stamp set, and to set it off even a bit more I placed this onto another layer of Gold Foil.


Don't forget that when you are embossing you should rub over your paper with your Embossing Buddy first to get off any stray flecks of dust or dirt, and then stamp your sentiment or image with Versa Mark ink and sprinkle your embossing powder over the stamped image and heat.

Happy Halloween!

Now that the Holiday Catalog is live, I can start preparing holiday cards for my monthly classes.  My cute little witch is from the Cauldron Bubble Stamp Set, and the coordinating Cauldron Framelit Dies make it really easy to cut out and if you purchase them both together you save 10%.




If you look closely in the right hand corner you will see my Spider Web that was cut out using a piece of Black Foil.  I thought it added a nice touch to my card.  My layer is a piece of Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper, which has a lot of cute images on some of the sides that can actually be cut out using some of the Framelits.
