Sweet Cups

One product I am really going to miss when it retires is the Sweet Cups.  They are great for packaging little treats, and you can decorate them to fit what ever occasion you want them for.  I used the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper to decorate the ones shown below.

I filled my Sweet Cups with Hershey Kisses and didn't package them for any specific occasion.  My sentiment reads "A Little Treat for Someone Sweet", so you can really use them for any occasion.  Birthday, thank you, thinking of you, get well, and more.

I plan on stocking on both the cups and the paper before they retire or run out.  I can't wait to decorate them for the holidays think they will be nice for my craft fairs as well.

Retiring list is here!

The list of products that will be retiring when the Occasions and Annual Catalogs end on June 3rd is now out.  The list might be a bit confusing though, since it does list some sets that will be converting to cling mount in the next Annual Catalog, and not be available in clear or wood mount.  You can see the entire list here at my Online Store.

I plan on adding my own list, which will include only the products that are truly retiring when I get back later this afternoon from a card class I am having at a retirement home.  It might not post until later tonight, but I just wanted you to be aware that if you see something on the list, it might be one of the sets that is being converted to a cling stamp.

The products in the bundles might also be back, but they are marked as retiring because they will no longer be offered as a bundle.

Sorry for the confusion and I heard Stampin' Up! is working on a revised list, but I will post my own revised list as soon as I get the chance to create it.

Update:  Stampin' Up! has given us a revised list and here it is:

Retired list of products from the Occasions Catalog can be seen  here.

Retired list of products from the Annual Catalog can be seen here.  Note that on this list any of the items you see with a dark gray line will be carried over into the new Annual catalog but will be in CLING MOUNT form only.  The reason they are on the list is because they will no longer be carrying wood or clear mount stamps.

My new storage system is here!

I finally got around to putting together my new storage system.  I really like how it all goes together so well and how much more space I have with everything in on place.  It stacks easily, and it is nice having my markers, ink pads, and refills all in one place.  The open spaces are where I will put my new In-Colors, and that is why I left those 5 spaces blank for now.

I plan on putting new embellishments in the open cubes, and can't wait to get the new products I got to pre-order today from the new catalog which goes live on June 1st.

I kept the packaging that was around the storage systems and used some of it for my Washi Tape.  If you order any of the systems, don't throw this out because I'm sure you have small items that will fit well in there.

Floating Frame Cards

Well, I just finished up my last craft fair of the spring season, and I finally had some time to try the Floating Frame Technique using Press n Seal.  I just have a few pictures to post today, and will try to post tomorrow step by step instructions.  But, for now here are a few pictures.  These are my first tries at it, and I think I want to try it next using different stamps, possibly leaving more space between my stamped images, but for a first try I think they turned out fine.

I will post the finished card later this week with the sentiment I put inside the frame.

Sorry I don't have time to post the instructions today, but off to watch my grandson and I can never say no when I get a chance to spend time with my grandchildren.

Storage System Update

Stampin' Up! released their new storage system on April 1st and it seems to be very popular.  They released this information about ordering:

Inventory Disclaimer: Because Storage by Stampin’ Up! is a brand-new product line, our inventory levels for this initial launch are based on research of similar products and their existing demand. If our inventory of Storage by Stampin’ Up! products is depleted, we will turn items off until their inventories have been replenished.

I did order enough of the ink storage for all of my new ink pads and markers, as well as a few cubes for my embellishments and ribbon.  Once I receive them and put them together I will share photos.

If you have read from any other demonstrators that they have placed the old style ink pads into the holders and that they do fit, even though they are snug, I would not want to take that chance because since the old style pads are thicker, you might ruin your units.  If that happens, I don't know if Stampin' Up! would replace them.  They are made for the new, thin style of ink pads and that is what I plan on using mine for.

You can go here to my Online Store to see each item or see the pictures posted below.

Listed below is the pricing of each system:
