January Paper Pumpkin

The January Paper Pumpkin kit will help you get your Valentine cards prepared in no time.  If you are already a subscriber the kit probably arrived in your mail by now.  If you are not a subscriber and would like to try the monthly kits, click the Paper Pumpkin link in the left hand column of my blog to sign up.

You can do a one month subscription, or a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month prepaid subscription.  Once you subscribe you will get a little sneak peek before each kit ships giving you the opportunity to decide if you want to receive this kit, add more kits to your subscription,  or skip the month.  You can also cancel any time, but I really think once you start receiving these all inclusive kits you will want them to keep coming each month.

April Paper Pumpkin Sneak Peek Video

With everyone trying to do their best to help stop the spread of the virus, I am so grateful for my Stampin' Up! crafts that help keep me busy, and also allow me the opportunity to share what I do with those who are alone at this time.  I plan on making cards and getting them to my local nursing home so the residents can know they are not alone, even though they are not allowed visitors at this time.

If you are a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber you have your kits to do that come with all of the materials needed so you don't have to worry about going out in this time of self quarantine.

December Paper Pumpkin - Alternate ideas!

Last week I posted the video showing you the December Paper Pumpkin kit that included everything you needed to make a yearly calendar for 2019, and 6 months into 2020.  Well I personally didn't need a yearly calendar since I already made one, so I thought I would turn each month into a specialized birthday card instead. 

I made the card below for my son's upcoming birthday which is on January 19th.  I just highlighted the 19, decorated the front of the calendar page using ink, stamps, and ribbon already in the kit, and attached it to a piece of Pool Party card stock.  I also stamped the inside with a personalized message and the card is finished and ready to be sent.

So, if you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber and don't need a calendar, here is another alternate idea.  Paper Pumpkin kits come with instructions to make a particular project, but as you can see, you have a lot of supplies included that can be used for so many more things.

December Paper Pumpkin

If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin you already received your December Kit so here are a few tips on putting it together.  First, the kit is not only for a year, but for 18 months so make sure when you put it together you have the correct order.  Next, you can watch the video below by Stampin' Up! to see more.

This kit makes a really nice gift for someone, but if you didn't want to keep it as a calendar you can use each month for a birthday card highlighting the birthday of the card recipient before sending it out. Gift it, edit it, keep it, but make sure you use it.  There are always alternate ways to use each monthly kit and if you have any questions or want more ideas feel free to comment below or send me an e-mail.
