Lots of Happy Card Kit - Sneak Peek

I finally got a few hours today to get down to my craft room and start creating with my new products.  The first thing I went to work on was my Lots of Happy Card Kit.  I love that you get four new Watercolor Pencils, a Photopolymer Stamp Set, Black Ink Spot, envelopes, dimensionals, ribbon, and all of the embellishments and paper needed to make 20 cards.  There are 5 different designs and sizes, 4 of each, and all are beautiful!

Here are my cards.  I followed the directions with the exception of maybe changing a sentiment on the front, and I did put sentiments on the insides as well, using some of my other stamp sets.  This is a really fun kit to put together, especially if you like to color!

Stampin' Up! produced a video of the kit and here it is below.

This kit can be yours when the Occasion Catalog goes live on January 3rd.  If you do not have an existing relationship with another Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like your own free copy of the catalog just leave a comment below or send me an e-mail.

I hope to be back posting again in a few days, but for now I want to wish you an early Happy New Year and I  look forward to creating with all of the new products soon.

Merry Christmas!

I know I haven't posted in awhile but have been very busy with family and some unforeseen circumstances which have kept me from stamping.  So if I don't get to post another project  until after the holidays, I want to take the time now to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  I will try to get back as soon as I can, and want to wish you all the very best with your family as you celebrate the season.

Unique Fold Christmas Card

If you are looking for a unique fold for your Christmas card, here is one that fits into a regular size card envelope and is really easy to create.  You start with a piece of card stock measuring 11" x 5 1/2" and then score it at 1 5/8", 3 3/8", 7 5/8", 9 3/8".

The second layer measures 10 3/4" x 5 1/4" and I just moved it over on my score board by an eighth of an inch and used the same score lines that I posted above.  This way I could make multiple cards without moving my score markers each time.

After I stamped all of my images I placed the Whisper White layer on top of my Cherry Cobbler base, lined up the score lines and adhered them together.  Fold and place in your envelope, and when they open it up, the card will stand up as shown.

Night of Bethlehem

The Night of Bethlehem Stamp Set and Edgelits Dies can be purchased in a bundle to save you 10%.  If you like to send cards with a religious theme these are perfect and they will be carrying over when the Holiday Catalog ends on January 3rd and I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will also be available when the new Annual Catalog comes out in June.

I stamped my town in Basic Black Ink, and while I could of cut this out with a coordinating edgelit I decided that I only wanted to cut out  the Mary and Joseph image to make it stand out a bit more.  I then added some Washi Tape to the bottom instead of ribbon, and cut out my star using Gold Foil.

Count my Blessings

The Count My Blessings stamp set that I used for today's card is retiring at the end of the month.  I really like the large sentiment and it can be used for many occasions - get well, sympathy, friendship and more.

To my Whisper White card base I added a layer of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper.  This paper has images perfect for not only the holidays but all occasion cards as well.  It too will be retiring at the end of the month.

After I stamped my images I layered them onto a piece of Basic Black card stock and added a piece of Basic Black Vintage Crochet Trim to finish the card.

Festive Phrases

Before I talk about my card, don't forget that you can reserve your Stamparatus today starting at 4:00 PM Eastern Time today!

The Festive Phrases Stamp set that I used for today's card will be retiring when the Holiday Catalog sales period ends on January 2, 2018.  If you like the set, which has cute images for not only the Christmas season, but Halloween, and Valentine's too you will want to order it soon.

My card base of Real Red Card Stock was layered with a piece of Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper (also retiring).  I then stamped my elf with Garden Green Ink, and layered this onto another piece of Real Red Card Stock.  Some Old Olive and Real Red ribbon were added to the layer for a bit more embellishment, and my little elf card is done!

Next Stamparatus Reservation Window is tomorrow, December 5th

If you tried to reserve your Stamparatus during the last reservation window but were shut out, I'm happy to report that Stampin' Up! has changed the way this next reservation window will happen.  Here is what they have said:

Change in Stamparatus Reservation Windows

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.

As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!

Please note the following changes:
  • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
  • In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows: one reservation per customer and one per demonstrator.
  • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window.
Please note what has not changed:
  • If you reserved more than one stamping tool during the first reservation period, that number will not change; you will still receive the same number you reserved.
  • If you reserved one or more stamping tool(s) during the first reservation period, you may still order during the second window.
  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.
So if you want to reserve our Stamparatus you can place your reservation starting 2:00 PM Mountain Time, which for most of my customers will be 4:00 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday, December 5th and until December 30th.  If you do not reserve it during that time frame you can order when the new Annual Catalog comes out June 1, 2018.   If you haven't watched the video I posted before I will show it again so you can see this great product.

The Year End Sales Event starts today and select products are on sale while supplies last.  You can see the list  here at my Online Store.

You can also click on the list of retiring products from the Holiday Catalog.  While not all of these products are on sale you get to see what will not be returning in the Annual Catalog so you still have time to purchase while they are still here.

If you are a customer of mine, remember that for every $50 you purchase through me before shipping and tax you get one punch on your Loyalty Rewards Card.  Once you have earned 10 punches I will send you your $25 Stampin' Up! gift certificate that you can use to purchase any products in any of the current catalogs.  This gift certificate is redeemable only through me and if you are not a current customer of mine but would like to become one, you can take advantage of program too.
