Wedding Card

For today's card I used two new stamp sets.  The Bloom & Grow set which created the flowers coordinates with the Budding Blooms Dies which I used for the center of the card.  They can be purchased together as a bundle to save you 10%.

The sentiment on both the front and inside of the cards are from the Verdant Garden Stamp Set.  I like when I see images in one set that I know will coordinate with other sets.  You get so much more from your products when you use them with other sets to create all types of cards.

Botanical Tags

Botanical Tag Thinlits coordinate with the Botanical Bliss Stamp Set and can be purchased together in a bundle to save you 10%.  You can see in my wedding card below that the thinlits can be used for so much more than just tags.

I just wanted to add a little bit of embellishment to my card so I cut one of the tags to fit the front card base.  I stamped some additional flowers to the ends, tied on a piece of retired lace ribbon, added my sentiment to my card and layered it onto a piece of Basic Black Card Stock.

These thinlits do make really great tags, but they also make nice additions to your cards too.

Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Day 2

Here are two more quick cards I made using the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper.  Just like the cards I posted yesterday, I didn't have to add a lot of layers or embellishments to make these cards.  the paper is so pretty that you don't want to cover a lot of it up.

I was also able to stamp right onto the paper on the card on the left, adding just a bit of Washi Tape and some cut flowers for a bit more embellishment.

The birthday card was embellished with some ribbon and my stamped and punched sentiments.

Beautiful Bouquet

I've been waiting for another stamp set that has sentiments for both the inside and outside of the card and Beautiful Bouquet fits my needs perfectly.  Not only does it come with coordinating framelits of flowers, branches, and bows, but the sentiments are perfect for wedding, anniversary, birthday, thank you, congratulations cards and more!  The framelits and stamps can be purchased together in a bundle to save you 10%.

My card base of Whisper White Card Stock was layered with a piece of Whole Lot of Love Designer Series Paper and with two piece of Whisper White Card Stock.  To the one layer I added a piece of Washi Tape from the Basic 1 Pack, and the other layer had my sentiment and stamped and cut flowers.  The ink colors used were Berry Burst and Powder Pink and the mini dimensionals were the perfect size to place behind my cut pieces.  For some extra sparkle my small branches were cut out using Gold  Glimmer Paper, and the inside of my card was stamped with wedding wishes.

So Detailed Thinlits Dies

If you want to add some elegance to your cards or projects, the So Detailed Thinlits Dies are just beautiful.  You can purchase them with the So In Love Stamp Set as a bundle to save you 10%.

After I cut out my thinlit, I added it to a layer of Very Vanilla Card Stock, and then placed this whole layer onto a my Very Vanilla Card Base.  The reason I added this layer was to make it easy to adhere the thinlit.  When you cut it not only do you have the pretty details, but it also cuts a long strip of solid card stock so that you can attach it easily under the layer.  I also took a cut piece of a Stampin' Sponge and using a dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue which I placed onto my Silicone Craft Sheet I rubbed the glue onto the back of my thinlit.  The glue doesn't show through and you get nice coverage on your paper.  You could also use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen but since the surface area to cover was large I thought the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a sponge was easier.

I also added a few pearls along the edges for a bit more embellishment and stamped my flowers and sentiment to finish my card.
