My wish for everyone reading this it that you have a very happy holiday and get to celebrate it with your loved ones, and that looking forward I wish for all of you to have a happy, healthy, and blessed 2017.

I look forward to another great year of stamping and creating with the ladies who come to my classes and share my love of stamping, and also send a thank you to all of them for inspiring me as well.

New Product Sneak Peek!

My mother's birthday is on December 23rd and I used some new products to make her card.  She likes to color with the Adult Coloring Books that have become so popular, so I thought she would like her card that was made with the Inside the Lines Designer Paper.

Now, I didn't color in every flower, but I did use my Brayer to give it nice shades of her favorite colors.  I also stamped the sentiment two times.  The first time I stamped it using Sweet Sugar Plum Ink and then cut out the inner circle using a Layering Circle Framelit.  I stamped it again, using Pool Party Ink on one side of the design, and Pear Pizzazz on the other side of the design.  This way my sentiment matched the colors that were brayed onto my designer paper.

The Designer Paper is one of the FREE products you can select during Sale-a-bration, and the sentiment is from the Everyday Tags Stamp Set that is in the Occasions Catalog.  Both of these catalogs go live on January 4th.

Note -  During Sale-a-bration for every $50 you spend before shipping and tax you get to select one FREE product from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

Below are the current products used - Occasion Catalog and Sale-a-bration products not listed just noted above.

Window Box Thinlits Video

Here is another new product Video I would like to share with you.  I know I have been posting a lot of videos lately, but I want you to be able to see the new products in the Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs before you place your order.  I know it always makes my decisions a little bit easier if I can see samples and learn how to use the new products before I order, and I hope you do too.

These two products, which you can purchase in a bundle to save you 10%, will be great for making small gift boxes, and with Mother's Day and Easter coming up I know I will put them to good use.  The stamp set alone will be great for your card projects too.

Inside the Lines!

Not only does a new Occasions Catalog come out January 4th, but Sale-a-bration starts then too. During Sale-a-bration for every $50 in Stampin' Up! product that you purchase, before shipping and tax, you get to select one FREE product from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  Below is a video of one of my favorite FREE products, the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper.

If you like the new adult coloring books that are out, you will love this paper.  You can fill in the designs with your favorite colors several ways.  You can use the new Watercolor Pencils which I showcased in a video yesterday, Stampin' Write Markers or Stampin' Up! Blender Pens.  You can also use a Sponge Brayer to give a layered look if you don't want to color it individually.  Either way the finished product will add so much to your project.

I hope you enjoy watching the video by Stampin' Up! showing you the different ways and different looks you can get with this stunning paper.

Star of Light

I try to make a couple cards at my classes that don't need a lot of die cutting.  So for this card I kept the cutting to a minimum, but added my punched star piece at the top of the card to dress it up a bit.  The only cutting was the gold star in the middle of the card.

My card base is Crumb Cake Card Stock.  To this I added my large star stamped in Early Espresso ink.  I cut out the stars at the top using the Confetti Star Border Punch.  I also punched a strip of the stars with Gold Glimmer Paper and placed the small stars that are left over and placed a few on my paper.  A simple card to make.

Christmas Magic

I love the images in the Christmas Magic Stamp Set.  They can be stamped and left alone, or you can color them in a bit like I did.

I cut a layer of Whisper White Card Stock to place onto my white base.  I stamped my images and then embossed the paper.  Remember to stamp your images first.  I then colored them in a bit, added my snowflake and sentiment for a bit more embellishment and placed this onto my card using Dimensionals.  The snowman and North Pole images had a little blank space between them after I stamped them, so I just took my Basic Black Marker and connected them to make it look like one large single stamp.

Wondrous Wreath

With all of the new Stamps in the Holiday Catalog, I forget about some of last year's sets that are still current and on my shelves.  I made sure to get some of them out so we could make some different cards at my last stamp class for the year.

I embossed my Crumb Cake Card Stock with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder, and layered this onto a piece of Real Red Card Stock.  I then cut out my window frame using the Hearth & Home Thinlits and placed this over a piece of Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper.  I stamped and then cut out my wreath and bow using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits and added a Rhinestone and my "Merry Christmas"  for the finishing touches.

Note:  The Fine Tip Glue Pen and Silicone Craft Sheet work so well together when you want to adhere thin objects.  The craft sheet keeps your work surface from getting sticky and messy and your paper or embellishment won't stick to the craft sheet making it easy to use for any kind of project that needs adhesive.
