Quick Easter Treat

I know I haven't been posting a lot lately, but I have been so busy preparing items for upcoming craft fairs.  I finally got caught up a bit, and I wanted to share a quick and easy way to package simple treats for Easter or any occasion where you are giving a small treat.

I bought Peppermint Patties that are individually wrapped and egg shaped for Easter.  I wanted to create a cute holder for them, and this is what I came up with.  Now they are a bit nicer to hand out and it really didn't take long to put together.  The instructions are below.

I used card stock that coordinated with the color of the mint packaging, and cut it to 2" x 8" and scored at 4".  I then punched both ends with my Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and attached my mint using two dimensionals.  I then kept them closed by tying with coordinating ribbon, added my bunny and sentiment on the front and I am finished.

So quick and easy to make and this holder could be used for any type of small treat.  Easy packaging idea to dress up that small gift.

Picture Perfect Party Class

I love the paper in the Picture Perfect Party 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack.  Each sheet is so full of color, and the images are so vibrant and just pop out on the page.  I designed 12 cards using one of each of the double-sided sheets and will be offering this as a class next month.  Some of the designs are courtesy of the talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators who share their work, and some are original.  I used the coordinating Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set, as well as a few other sets to make these 12 birthday cards.

By adding coordinating card stock and ink,  and using some thinlits and framelits, along with a few embellishments such as ribbon and bows, you will be all set to make your cards.  In addition, this class will also allow the stamper to then take her own pack of the paper home.  There will be 36 sheets of paper left, 3 each of the 12 designs used in the class.  You can turn the sheets over to get a different design and have a nice supply of birthday cards on hand.

The paper coordinates with the following colors:  Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party.  Perfect colors for festive, fun, birthday cards.

If you live in the area and would like to join us, this class it is scheduled for Wednesday, March 7th at 10 AM.  Cost is $30.00 and that includes everything you need to make the above cards, with the exception of adhesive to put your layers together.

You can RSVP by going to my Online Store and under events in March the class is listed and a RSVP button is there for your convenience.  Or feel free to  leave a comment below or send me an e-mail.

Update - Fast Fuse Inventory already depleted!

I am so sorry to report that the supply of Fast Fuse adhesive is already depleted.  Personally I wish they would set limits on how many people could buy, but I am glad that the customers who told me they wanted it let me know last night and I got up early this morning and was able to order for them.  Hopefully in the future they rethink how the sales run, but I know they do their best to forecast how many will sell.

The Fast Fuse 5-Day Sale Is Coming!

The response to Stampin' Up!s first Fast Fuse promotion last fall was phenomenal. In fact, it was so overwhelming that they didn’t have the inventory to keep the deal running! So, as promised, they are bringing back the Fast Fuse Adhesive deal for five days only—while supplies last!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this promotion, here’s how it works: When you buy ONE Fast Fuse Adhesive, you’ll get TWO Fast Fuse Adhesive refills for FREE!

This deal will start on February 8 and end on February 12. Remember, that’s five days only—while supplies last! Be sure to mark your calendars and prepare to stock up, save.

I will keep this post up until Thursday, February 8th when the sale starts and keep you posted if and when the inventory runs out.  Hopefully there is enough to go around for everyone and that the sale lasts at least a few days but I would not wait to order if you want to get in on the deals.

You can go directly here to my Online Store to order.  If you already have a relationship with another Stampin' Up! demonstrator you can go to his or her online store.  If you are a customer of mine and would like me to place the order for you I need to know by Tuesday, February 7th as I plan on placing an order early in the morning on the 8th.

Here are the numbers for fast fuse below.  Note -  the free refills value $15.00.

Baby Bear Valentine

Don't forget that there are several stamp sets in your Annual Catalog that can also be used for Valentine Cards.  The Baby Bear set is the one I used to make Valentine Cards for my two youngest grandsons.  They love bears and I think they will like this card as well.

The Designer Series Paper I used as my layer can be yours for FREE.  It is one of the patterns in the Free Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper packs that you can select during Sale-a-bration if you place an order of at least $50 before shipping and tax.  That paper  has so many cute designs for many occasions, and even better when it is free.

The additional hearts I stamped and cut are from the Heart Happiness Stamp Set in the Occasions Catalog, and cut out with the Sweet & Sassy Framelit Dies.  The Be Mine Valentine sentiment in the center of the white heart is from a set that was in a past Paper Pumpkin Kit.
