Quick Easter Treat

I know I haven't been posting a lot lately, but I have been so busy preparing items for upcoming craft fairs.  I finally got caught up a bit, and I wanted to share a quick and easy way to package simple treats for Easter or any occasion where you are giving a small treat.

I bought Peppermint Patties that are individually wrapped and egg shaped for Easter.  I wanted to create a cute holder for them, and this is what I came up with.  Now they are a bit nicer to hand out and it really didn't take long to put together.  The instructions are below.

I used card stock that coordinated with the color of the mint packaging, and cut it to 2" x 8" and scored at 4".  I then punched both ends with my Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and attached my mint using two dimensionals.  I then kept them closed by tying with coordinating ribbon, added my bunny and sentiment on the front and I am finished.

So quick and easy to make and this holder could be used for any type of small treat.  Easy packaging idea to dress up that small gift.
