Endless Birthday Wishes
When you add some Work of Art designs with your sentiments and cake you get a very simple, yet colorful birthday card. Sending it to a man and you could just change your colors, but the design works for any birthday.
My card base is Whisper White Card Stock and I used Mint Macaroon, Wisteria Wonder, and Daffodil Delight ink to stamp my background, and used Early Espresso for my dots, sentiments, and cake. The little to you was highlighted by cutting it out with my Banner Punch and sponging it with some Early Espresso Ink. One layer cards can still be pretty when you add some pretty colors.

August Paper Pumpkin - Video
This month's Paper Pumpkin video can be seen below. Wow - I really love this kit. First of all, I love the stamps that come with it, especially the Sympathy stamp. The paper quality of the cards is really great and I love the colors too. I can always use cute little boxes too so this kit has it all.
If you would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin just click the link in the upper left hand column of my blog. If you are a new subscriber you can try Paper Pumpkin now at 50% off your first two months. Details are below the video.

Go Wild Designer Paper Banner Birthday
The Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack has great patterns and I think I will use it a lot for masculine cards. You get 48 sheets of 6" x 6" paper with 4 each of 12 double-sided designs for a lot of options.
I cut a few different sizes of Banner Framelits with my paper and layered it onto Whisper White and Basic Black Card Stock. I added some Metallics Sequins, and my large birthday sentiment is from the Big News Stamp Set, and it was just the right size for this card.

Sprinkles of Life Birthday
Yum, who doesn't like cupcakes for their birthday. Add a few pearls for embellishment, and the birthday sign cut out using a Handpicked Framelit Die and you have a fun birthday wish.
My card base is Rich Razzleberry Card Stock that I layered with a piece of Whisper White Card Stock and a piece of Rich Razzleberry Designer Series Paper from the Brights Paper Stack. My icing was punched out with the Tree Builder Punch and the cupcake bottom was cut out using my Paper Snips. I also cut some Circle Framelits to add additional color and layers, and tied it together with some Rich Razzleberry Cotton Ribbon.

Zoo Babies Thank You
I was asked to make a banner, thank you tags, and thank you cards for a little girl's 2nd birthday. The theme was "Curious George" so I used the small monkey in the Zoo Babies Stamp Set to help send the thank you message.
My card base is Daffodil Delight Card Stock that I embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. Next I cut layers of Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Whisper White Card Stock with my Deco Label Framelits. I added the small heart and placed all three layers on to my card front using Dimensionals.
The banner and thank you tags I made follow the same theme of stamping onto each with the small monkey and using my brown, red, yellow, and white colors. I really like coordinating, and these colors worked so well for a Curious George birthday party.
