If you want a different look for flowers, instead of stamping and cutting, just take your card layer and with your Big Shot cut your flower framelits right on your layer where you otherwise might of stamped them. To add a pop more color, place a piece of Designer Series Paper underneath the layer.
My card base is Whisper White Card Stock, my layer is Watermelon Wonder, and the Designer Series Paper is from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper Pack. I also embossed my Watermelon Wonder Card Stock with the Fluttering Embossing Folder, and I outlined my cut flowers with a Delightful Dijon Marker.
After looking at the card I thought it needed a bit more embellishment, so I cut the small center flower, added some pearls, and at the suggestion of one of the girls at a stamp class added the punched butterflies. My birthday sentiment is from the Flower Patch Stamp Set, which coordinates with the Flower Fair Framelits, and this was cut out using a thinlit from the Circle Card Thinlits.
