Lots of Happy Card Kit - Sneak Peek

I finally got a few hours today to get down to my craft room and start creating with my new products.  The first thing I went to work on was my Lots of Happy Card Kit.  I love that you get four new Watercolor Pencils, a Photopolymer Stamp Set, Black Ink Spot, envelopes, dimensionals, ribbon, and all of the embellishments and paper needed to make 20 cards.  There are 5 different designs and sizes, 4 of each, and all are beautiful!

Here are my cards.  I followed the directions with the exception of maybe changing a sentiment on the front, and I did put sentiments on the insides as well, using some of my other stamp sets.  This is a really fun kit to put together, especially if you like to color!

Stampin' Up! produced a video of the kit and here it is below.

This kit can be yours when the Occasion Catalog goes live on January 3rd.  If you do not have an existing relationship with another Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like your own free copy of the catalog just leave a comment below or send me an e-mail.

I hope to be back posting again in a few days, but for now I want to wish you an early Happy New Year and I  look forward to creating with all of the new products soon.

Watercolor Christmas Project Kit day 2

Yesterday I posted two of the cards in the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit, today I am posting the other two cards.  You get a total of 20 cards, 5 each of 4 different designs when you are done putting your kit together.  What a great value, and what a great timesaver if you need to make a lot of Christmas cards.  Not only do they get put together quickly, but they are really pretty as well.

The only thing I changed on these cards is the placement of the Gold Mini Sequin Trim on the second card.  Instead of putting it under my layer I tied it into a bow and placed it on top of the sentiment.

And, how clever is it that with the left over Sequin Trim you take the small sequins off of the thread and use them for embellishment on the card below.

Watercolor Christmas Project Kit

I shared the video a few days ago showing the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit that will be available when the Holiday Catalog goes live on September 1st.  I couldn't wait to get my kit and start creating the 20 cards that come in the kit.  You get 5 each of 4 different designs.  Below I am showing you two of the cards you can create.

The card above was created just as the instructions stated.  I didn't feel the need to add anything but a sentiment inside.

To the card above the only thing I added were the little sequins.

You can purchase a coordinating stamp set called Watercolor Christmas to use for the sentiments.  I did purchase the stamp set because I really liked the large sentiments and how easily they fit on the cards.  If you like the kit and have a lot of other holiday stamps that you know will fit the cards you can just purchase.

Kit details:

Makes 20 cards, 5 each of 4 different designs.  Folded card size is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Envelopes come with a gold foil liner, and kit also includes cardstock and printed die-cut accents and backgrounds, and gold mini sequin trim.

Tomorrow I will post a picture of the other two cards.

Christmas Kit Sneak Peek!

I love Stampin' Up! card kits.  They are great for the beginner stamper, as well as people who have been stamping for a long time.  The Watercolor Christmas Project Kit that will be in the Holiday Catalog which goes live on September 1st is great.  I can't wait to get my preorder and put the kit together to show the ladies who come to my stamp class.  I plan on holding a class so we can put our kits together and have a fun time doing it.

You can do this kit on your own and use just the materials that come with it, using previously owned holiday and Christmas stamp sets.  Or you could buy the coordinating stamp set that goes with the kit.  Either way you will be able to create a lot of Christmas cards in no time at all.

Watch the video below to get a sneak peek!

Soft Sayings Card Kit

I put together my cards from the Soft Sayings Card Kit.  I love this set.  I followed the direcctions for most of the cards, but did change a few up by either turning them to have a different opening, or adding a different sentiment, but everything I needed to do the cards was in the kit.

What also makes this kit so great is that you can get a refill kit which allows you to make 10 more cards using the stamp set, ink, and block that is in the full kit.  It didn't take me long to make the cards and this kit would also make a nice gift for any beginning or seasoned stamper.

Sneak Peek - Soft Sayings All Inclusive Card Kit

This will be the first kit class I will be offering my customers.  Last year we did three of the kits in the catalogs and I know this one will be a hit.  Not only does it come with enough materials to make 20 cards but it also comes with the Soft Sayings Stamp Set.

Here is a video made by Stampin' Up! to show you the beautiful cards and materials.

This kit will be available to order on June 1st, so I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and it gets you excited for the new Annual Catalog.

Birthday Bright Project Kit Video

If you like to put together kits the Birthday Bright Project Kit in the Occasions Catalog makes 12 cards, 4 each of 3 designs, and also makes 12 gift tags, 4 each of 3 designs.  It comes with all of the materials to put the cards together, with the exception of a stamp set.  The Birthday Bright Stamp Set coordinates with the kit and both can be found on page 13 of the Annual Catalog.  Below is a video done by Stampin' Up! that shows the kit and how to put it together.

Note:  If you are on a tight budget, the kit by itself is a great value.  12 cards and 12 gift tags for $28.00.  You can use sets you already have to complete the kit and while the coordinating stamp set is really cute and works great with the kit, you can purchase just the kit and still finish all of the projects with stamp set you already own.

Stitched with Cheer Project Kit - Stampin' Up! Video

The Stitched with Cheer Project Kit comes with materials to complete 18 cards.  Not only are the cards unique with their stitched stars, snowflakes, and trees, they are also a very economical way to make your Christmas and holiday cards.  I will be offering this kit in a class in November, and I thought you might like to watch this video by Stampin' Up! that gives you more details.

Note -  In my class I will be offering different Christmas stamps than the set that coordinates with the kit.  I have a lot of sets that I knew would work, so I purchased the kit but not the stamp set.  As you can see from my samples, there were just a few changes.

To You and Yours Shaker Cards Project Kit Video

Last week I posted some of the cards I made with the Shaker Card Project Kit.  The cards are really cute and fun to make, but they do require a few steps.  I thought I would share this video by Stampin' Up! to show you how these cards go together.  All of the supplies are included, except any additional stamp sets you might want to use to stamp a few extras onto your cards.  The "To You & Yours Too" Photopolymer Stamp Set coordinates with this kit, however, if you are on a budget you can use stamp sets you already have in your collection and finish this kit just as it comes.

Enjoy the video and leave a comment or send an e-mail if you have any questions.

To You & Yours Shaker Card Project Kit

The Shaker Card Kit comes with enough materials to make 18 cards, 6 each of the three designs I posted below.  It coordinates nicely with the "To You & Yours Too" Stamp Set, but since I already had purchased a few new Christmas stamps in the Holiday Catalog, I knew I had sets that would coordinate as well.  So, my cards have a few slight differences, but as you can see you can follow the directions using the kit and coordinating stamp set, or use stamp sets you already have.  The cards coordinate with Cucumber Crush and Real Red ink.

The differences in my cards will be noted below each card.

My Tree Shaker Card has a different sentiment as well as a different tree stand and stamped tree.  My sentiment and base are from the Festival of Trees Set in the Annual Catalog.  My tree stamped on the inside piece is from the new Peaceful Pines Stamp Set.
You can see here that when you take the green frame and place it on your die cut piece you will have a full green tree remaining to use on another project.

Tree Base from Festival of Trees Stamp Set

Stamped Tree from Peaceful Pines

My joy card used everything in the kit except the ornament top is from the Lots of Joy Set in the Annual Catalog.
Leftover circle for future project

The only difference in the Merry & Bright Card is that I used the star from the Festival of Tree Stamp Set to add more stars to the card front.  The small stars are part of the kit.

You will also have nice gold stars left over for another project since you only use the outline for the card.

This kit is a really great value, and with the dimensional strips and precut window sheets that come with all of the other pieces in the kit, it makes it really easy to make Shaker Cards.
