A Fitting Occasion - Masculine Birthday

Masculine cards are always in demand at my monthly Stamp Classes.  So by using some of the masculine themed stamps in the "A Fitting Occasion" Stamp Set, and some Soho Subway Designer Series Paper, I came up with this masculine card for my August Stamp Class.

My card base of Early Espresso Card Stock was layered with a piece of Very Vanilla that I embossed with the Argyle Embossing Folder.  I added a piece of Early Espresso Baker's Twine to add as a base to place my banners and stamped images.  I then took some pieces of Soho Subway Designer Series Paper and folded them in half before I cut them out using some Hearts a Flutter Framelits.

I wanted the cut paper larger than the Framelits, so by folding the paper in half, and cutting with the top of the Framelit over the fold, I was able to get these larger banners.  I cut the top of the middle banner to make it a straight edge.

I then stamped my images, punched them out with the 1" Circle punch and placed them onto my banners using dimensionals.
