"Merry" Thinlits

I had a request to start adding Christmas and Holiday cards to my monthly stamp classes so everyone can get a few done each month.  I wanted to introduce the ladies to some new products in the holiday catalog and here is the first Holiday card they can make.

I sometimes love a simple card.  Not a lot of layers or sentiments, but just enough to get the message across.  I think the large "Merry" Thinlits Die along with my Gift Bow does just that.

My card base of Whisper White Card Stock was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I then cut out my Merry Thinlit using my Big Shot.  To make it sticky I added a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of my Cherry Cobbler Card Stock before I cut it out. When I popped it out of the Thinlit it was ready to stick onto my card stock.

I then added a piece of Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding, and then using a piece of Season of Style Designer Series Paper I cut out my bow with the Gift Bow Bigz L Die.  A few pieces of Sticky Strip and my bow was put together.  I could of cut a single strip of paper using the Bow Die and wrap that around my bow in the center but I used another piece of Cherry Cobbler Ribbon instead.  A large Rhinestone was added to the center to finish the card.

Now all you need to do is add a sentiment or write your wishes on the inside.

The following were used:
Card Stock:  Whisper White #100730
Designer Series Paper:  Season of Style #132340
Ribbon:  Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding #120992
Embellishment:  Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels #129324
Adhesive:  Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet #120805, Sticky Strip #104294
Tools:  Big Shot #113439, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder #117335, Expressions Thinlits Dies #132171, Gift Bow Bigz L Die #129977
