Creating Frames with your Square Framelits

Yesterday I shared a card showing how easy it was to create layers using your Squares Collection Framelits.  Well, todays card shows how easy it is to create a frame using those same Framelits.

My card base is Very Vanilla Card Stock with a layer of Coastal Cabana and Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper.   These two layers were cut out with one of the Square Framelits and placed onto my card.  Now I had a opening that shows my Very Vanilla card base.

For my image, I used markers to ink up the large flower from the Backyard Basics Stamp Set, stamped it onto a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock,  and then cut it out using the coordinating Backyard Basic Framelit, and placed it onto my card using Dimensionals.

Now, to create my frame I took another piece of Coastal Cabana Card Stock and took two different sizes Square Framelits and layered them on top of this piece.  I ran that through my Big Shot and my frame was created.  You will have another large square left over, and you can just save this for another project.

You could keep on going and make different sized frames using different sizes squares.  Have fun experimenting and seeing what you can create.  Great for scrapbooking and photo albums too.  A nice way to frame a favorite photo, saying, or image.
