Hello, Doily and Circle Framelits

It is really easy to create an opening anywhere on your card using Framelits.  Just stamp your image first so you can see exactly where you want to cut, then place your opened piece of cardstock on your Big Shot and use the Framelit of your choice to create the opening you want.

My card base of Strawberry Slush Card Stock was stamped with the Hello, Doily Stamp using Strawberry Slush Ink.  I then laid my opened card onto my Magnetic Platform, lined up my Circle Framelit and ran it through the machine.  Now I have the opening I want, which gave me a space to stamp my sentiment.  Now your sentiment shows when the card is either closed or open.

To dress the front of the card I took a small piece of Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper, punched the edges with the Scallop Trim Border Punch, and added pearls along the bottom.

If you love what you can do with your Big Shot Machine but still haven't crossed it off your wish list, you can win tickets into my Big Shot Drawing by purchasing Stampin' Up! Merchandise either at  my online store or by calling me with an order.  For every $25 you spend in Stampin' Up! Merchandise before shipping and tax, you get a ticket into my Big Shot Drawing.  The lucky winner will be drawn at my December Stamp Class.  Last year's winner was Marietta S., maybe this year it will be you.
