Stocking Stuffers

Closed tissue holder

I am already getting ready for Christmas, and working on getting items made for my craft fairs, and also for my families stockings.  I saw really cute packs of tissues for girls and boys, and using some cardstock and designer series paper, I dressed them up a bit to make them cute to go in the Christmas stockings.

I don't have time to list all of the dimensions today, but will post them when I get back from my weekend away.  Mainly, I cut my cardstock so I could cover the tissue pack and easily close it using velcro.  I just made my tab closure with cardstock, and added Sticky Strip to the back of the tab, and velcro to the front to make it easy to open and close without destroying the cover.  I also used Sticky Strip to hold my tissue pack to the inside piece of cardstock.

The followng were used:
Cardstock:  Cherry Cobbler #119685, Gumball Green #126840, Whisper White #100730
Designer Series Paper:  Snow Festival #126908 (Holiday Mini)
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler #126966
Stamp Set:  More Merry Messages #126400 wood or #126402 clear
Punches:  Scallop Oval #119856, Large Oval #119855, 3/16" Corner#119871
Embellishment:  Brights Designer Button #119747

These are cute. I always have travel tissue in the stockings. I think I need to add a little more pizzaz to them this year.
