Make your own bow with Designer Series Paper to add a unique embellishment to your card or project.  The bow is really easy to make and instructions are below.

You will need the following:  Cardstock or Designer Series Paper measuring 4” x 6”, paper snips, scrap piece of cardstock, sticky strip, snail adhesive, 1” circle punch, embellishments
Step 1: Start by cutting your paper into 4 strips measuring 1” x 6”

Step 2:  Fold each strip in half
Step 3: Place snail adhesive on the folded edge and fold the half of each strip back to meet the fold and then adhere to the back of the loop where they will meet.
Step 4:  Take two of the folded strips and using your adhesive, glue one piece behind the other.

Step 5:  Now you have your two pieces of the bow.  Turn them over and apply Sticky Strip in the middle to keep them together.  DO NOT REMOVE THE OUTER LINER OF THE STICKY STRIP UNTIL YOU WANT TO ADHERE IT TO YOUR PROJECT.

Step 6:  Turn your bow over and punch a 1” circle and place it over the center of your bow.
Step 7:  Place your embellishment in the center, fluff up our bow and cut your tails to get the look you want.

If you want your bow to be smaller just alter your starting size.

The rest of my card was made by starting with a card base of Calypso Coral cardstock, followed by an embossed layer of Whisper White.  To this layer I added my stamped and punched sentiments, along with my paper bow.

The following were used:
Cardstock:  Calypso Coral #122925, Whisper White #100730, Lucky Limeade #122926
Designer Series Paper:  Retired paper used
Ink:  Calypso Coral #126983, Lucky Limeade #126984
Stamp Set:  A Fitting Occasion #127047 wood or #127049 clear
