Language of Friendship

How fitting is it that the Stamp Set used for my card today is called "Language of Friendship."  We all need our friends, especially during times of sorrow, and I know it means so much to me when my friends reach out to me during the bad times, and I hope this card helps to ease the pain of someone close to me too.

My card base is Sahara Sand cardstock.  To this I added a layer of Midnight Muse that was punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.  I also added a Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border of Soft Suede cardstock to this layer.  Next, I cut two Labels Collections Framelits for the accent piece for my bird.  I ran them through my Big Shot again using the new Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  This gives a natural wood look, and looks great as a background for the Bird that was stamped and then punched out using the Bird Builder Punch.  I added a few punched Boho Blossom Flowers, and a small pearl to the birds eye for added accents.

When you use the Language of Friendship stamp set, all you need to do is stamp the images and line them up in your Bird Builder and Boho Blossom punches.  The images line up exactly!
