Top Note Die Christmas Purse

If you are in need of a quick gift for Christmas, try making this cute little purse which would make a nice gift for teachers, co-workers, or anyone special on your list.  I filled mine with candy, but you could also fill it with any type of small gift item.  I have seen many of these made before by other demonstrators, and just had to try my own.  Really easy to make!

I started the purse by cutting a piece of Real Red cardstock with the Top Note Bigz Die.  I scored it at 1 1/4" inches on the top, and folded it over, and then added another small piece of Holly Berry Bouquet DSP that was also cut with the Top Note Die.  My candy was put in a small cellophane bag and then folded over and placed onto the Real Red Top Note piece with Sticky Strip.  I added another piece of Sticky Strip to the under side of the Top Note that was scored and folded to hold everything in place.  For the handle I punched two small holes with the Crop-a-Dile and added Real Red Grosgrain 1/4" ribbon that was knotted on each end to hold it in place.  A Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Button was the finishing touch.

The following were used:
