Get Well Soon

Before I go on about today's card, I just want to say thank you to all of the very creative Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who share their ideas on a wonderful demonstrator only site called Stampin'  Connections.  It is just one of the many perks of being a demonstrator myself.  The wealth of information and sharing helps me and inspires me to be creative, and gives me so many ideas for my own cards.  Today's card was inspired by one I saw a few days ago.  I changed it up a bit, but the idea for the band-aid, which is not my original idea,  was so cute I also wanted to share it with all of you.

I started my card with Basic Gray cardstock, followed by layers of Crumb Cake and Whisper White, and using my Spritzer Tool and Crumb Cake marker I added a spattered background to the white layer.  My band-aid was made by taking a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and punching the corners with the 3/16" corner punch and then adding a punched 1 1/4" square for the center.  Both of these pieces were embossed, the larger piece with the Square Lattice folder, and the square with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.    I then added my little hippo to layered pieces of cardstock, and added just a bit of color using markers.  A really easy card to make, and just a bit different from your ordinary get well.

The following were used:
