Christmas Lodge meets Deck the Halls

Stamped Envelope Flap
Using  the Christmas Lodge Stamp Set and Deck the Halls Fabric, I created my Very Vanilla with a touch of Cherry Cobbler, Christmas Card.

I started my card by embossing Very Vanilla cardstock with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.  Next, I cut Cherry Cobbler cardstock and Very Vanilla cardstock with my Big Shot and the Top Note Bigz Die.  The Cherry Cobbler piece is the original size, and the Very Vanilla piece was cut to layer on top.  I also embossed the Very Vanilla piece with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder, and tied a piece of Deck the Halls Fabric around both pieces.  To gather the fabric in the middle, I tied a small piece of Linen Thread around it, and then added a punched piece of retired Deck the Halls DSP to cover the thread.  I placed this piece on with a glue dot.

A Designer Frame was then cut again with my Big Shot, and I stamped my images, and sponged some Cherry Cobbler ink around it for a bit of color.  I also added another punched piece of retired Deck the Halls DSP to bring the pieces of holly together.
