When I am not adding any Designer Series Paper or a lot of other color to my card I like to add embossed backgrounds to my paper to give it added dimension instead.
My card base of Rich Razzleberry cardstock was embossed with the Stripes Embossing Folder, and then my smaller layer of Rich Razzleberry was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper folder. A small piece of Rich Razzlberry 1/4"Grosgrain Ribbon was also added before I placed my stamped images which were put on Very Vanilla Cardstock. The inside of the card also had a layer of Very Vanilla to make it easier to write your personal message, and it was also stamped with one of the leaves.
