Shadow Box

This was my first try at making a shadow box using my Stampin' Up! punches, stamp sets, paper, and embellishments.  Another fun way to use your Stampin' Up! products!

I first started by purchasing the frame.  I started with something small and inexpensive - I got the frame for $1.00 at the Dollar Store.  I figured that this way if I didn't like it I really didn't spend a lot of money.  Next I took some punches and paper and just started laying things out on the frame. In a matter of minutes I had a completed project.  I was pleased with the results, and am looking forward to making more.

For today's project I used the following:
Cardstock:  Marina Mist #119682, Very Vanilla #101650,  Lavendar Lace (retired)
Designer Series Paper:  Greenhouse Gala #117167
Ink:  Marina Mist #119668, Early Espresso #119770, Pear Pizzazz #119784
Ribbon:  Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched Poly #119265
Stamp Sets:  Occasional Quotes #117048 wood mount or #120142 clear mount (Hostess Level #), Just Believe #116948 wood mount or 120453 clear mount
Punches:  Extra Large Oval #119859, Full Heart #119883, Butterfly #119848, Two-Step Bird #117191, 5-Petal Flower #119880, Scallop Circle #119854, BoHo Blossoms #119858, Scallop Square #119884, 1 1/4" Circle #119861, Heart to Heart #119881, Eyelet Border #119853
Embellishments:  Clear Rhinestone Brads #113144, Neutral Brads #119736, Going Gray Corduroy Button (Retired)
Accessories:  Crimper #101618, Bone Folder #102300 (both used to make the flower in the lower right hand corner), Two Way Glue Pen #100425, Glue Dots #103683

So remember - Stampin' Up! products are not just for making cards or scrapbooking.  Experiment with your products and have fun trying new things, and sharing your ideas with others.  If you would like to order any of the products used to make the Shadow Box or any of the projects listed in my post, just click the on line order link and have fun creating!
