Ladybug Birthday Card

When I saw the cute ladybug card made by Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Kelly Bingham I had to try my own.  Thanks Kelly for the great idea!

To start I cut two scallop circles using the Scallop Circle Bigz Die.  Next, using Whisper White cardstock I cut a 3 1/2" circle with my Circle Scissors Plus.  This tool allows you to cut just the right size circle for all of your projects.  I attached this layer to one of the scallop circles and stamped my Happy Birthday.  The other scallop circle was cut in half and two black brads keep it in place and allow you to open the card.  The head was made with the 1 3/4" circle punch and the ladybug circles were cut with the 1/2" circle punch and a hole punch.  I also used my hole punch for the eyes and a black marker created the small dot in the center.

To make this card I used the following:
Cardstock:   Real Red #102482, Basic Black #121045, Whisper White #100730
Stamp Set:  Perfect Punches #117022 wood mount or 120516 clear mount
Marker:  Basic Black #100082
Ink: Real Red #103133
Punches:  1 3/4" Circle #119850, 1/2" Circle #119869, Hole Punch
Accessories:  Big Shot Die Cut Machine #113439, Scallop Circle Bigz Die #113468, Circle Scissors Plus #112530, Glass Mat #112531, 2-Way Glue Pen #100425
Embellishment:  Neutral Brad #119736
