Yes, I know it is only April, but I needed to plan some Mother's Day cards for my April Stamp Classes. I was a little disappointed that there were not too many new stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog for Mother's Day, but I really like the "My Mother" Stamp Set that is.
My card base is Crushed Curry Card Stock that I layered with a piece of Smoky Slate and Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper. I stamped my large sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White using Crushed Curry Ink and then cut it out with an Oval Framelit. To add a little bit more embellishment I tied a bow using some Silver 1/8" Ribbon which was carried over from the Holiday Catalog.
