Tray full of magnets!

I feel like I just finished with my winter craft fairs, and hard to believe I am now making items for the ones I will be participating in this Spring.  I also made the clothespin and button magnets last year, and in addition to those I will also have Soda Pop Top Magnets for a different way to showcase a favorite picture, or memento.

I purchased the magnetic sheets at a local craft store, and covered the clothespins with a variety of retired Designer Series Paper and buttons.  I purchased a lot of the paper and buttons on the Clearance Rack, so it was really a bargain. The small round magnets used for the Flower Button Magnets were also purchased at a local Craft Store, and decorated with a variety of fabrics that were cut out using the Big Shot and my retired Scallop Circle Die.

The Soda Pop Top Magnets were decorated with different images that I stamped onto Whisper White Card Stock, and then punched out with the 1" Circle Punch, placed into my Bottle Cap, and then sealed with Crystal Effects.  These were also placed onto round magnets and kept together with a glue gun.  The Bottle Caps already stick to the magnets, but I decided to hot glue them together so it is just one piece instead of two individual pieces.

I really like the new Soda Pop Tops in the Spring Catalog.  They are a great embellishment for so many projects.  When using them to make the magnets I did not run them through my Big Shot to flatten them, but used them the way they came.  When I use them on a card I usually flatten them out.

The following Stampin' Up! products were used:  (current products listed only)
Stamp Sets:  Collage Curios #129099 w or #129102 c, Itty Bitties #128939 w, Every Little Bit #117096 w or #120558 c, Tiny Tags #118091 w or #118592 c
Embellishments:  Soda Pop Tops #129388, Crystal Effects #101055
