M & M Christmas Tree Card

If you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber you might recognize the triangular cello bag I used for my filled M & M Christmas Tree.  The bags came in the Banner Surprise Kit and I had so many left over that I wanted to find another use for them and thought they would work well for my tree card.

My tree stand was cut from a Perfect Pine Framelit and I embossed my Crumb Cake Card Stock with the Brick Embossing Folder.  The Merry Christmas, from the Star of Light Stamp Set was punched out with a retired punch.  To keep my M & M's in place after I placed them in the bag I folded the end and added a piece of  Tear & Tape Adhesive along the bottom.  I also added a piece up the middle of the back side of the tree and placed it onto my card.

If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin you can still order refill kits to make your own tree cards.  You get 35 cello bags as well as the other materials that were in the original kit that you can put aside and use for another project.  A fun way to send a "tasty" Christmas card.
