Gobble, Gobble!

I have made Turkey candy treats using the Circle Treat Cups, but once again, I tried to change the design so they would be a little different this year.

This year I used one of my Circle Framelits for the base of the Turkey.  Last year I used a Scallop Die which is now retired, and I wanted to make this turkey using only current product so my customers could duplicate it with items that they can currently purchase.  I filled my Treat Cup with Fall colored M & M's (last year I used Candy Corn which is nice to put inside too), and placed the Treat Cup onto my Circle Base.  The Treat Cups already have adhesive on them so you can just place them down once they are filled.

For the feather I punched my card stock using the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch (you could also use your Large Oval Punch which is what I used last year) and also used this punch to create the feet and the nose.  The eyes were purchased at a local craft store.  I added my Happy Thanksgiving sentiment to the bottom and the turkey is complete.

These make cute favors to set out at your dinner table, or for the children to hand out in class.  They are always one of my best sellers at Craft Fairs too.

The following were used:
