Mother's Day Card and Purse Ensemble

Well, I know Mother's Day is still a few months away, but I am planning for my spring craft fairs, and I thought the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper was the perfect paper to make a cute purse and matching card.  The purse holds four Hershey Miniature Chocolates, and they were wrapped with the same paper as the purse.

The Petite Purse Die goes together quickly, and you only need a few small pieces of adhesive to hold the sides together.  I used Sticky Strip to give it a good hold.  I placed the handle on with brads, and added the extra scallop punch and large pearl for a bit more embellishment.

The card was made by embossing the coordinating card stock with the Lacy Brocade Embossing folder, adding some ribbon, and a cut Labels Collection Framelit.   I added the happy mother's day sentiment to the center, but you could change the sentiment and give this cute gift set for many occasions.  Great for a birthday, thank you, get well, teacher gift, and so much more.
