I think I found one of my favorite things from the Spring Catalog, the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. Plus, with the addition of some new Core'dinations Card Stock the two go perfectly together.
Most of the products on todays card are new products, so it was a fun card to make. My card base is Whisper White Card Stock, with an added layer of Early Espresso, and then my embossed layer of Pool Party Core'dinations Card Stock. Before I placed my stamped banners onto these layers, I sanded the Card Stock to give the honeycombs a more distressed look.
The Banners were inked with Early Espresso and they are from the Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set, and then cut out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits. I am loving the framelits too - so easy to stamp and cut for perfect images and placement every time. The Happy Birthday sentiment at the top (sorry it is hard to see in the picture) is from That's the Ticket Set, and was punched out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch. Some Whisper White Baker's Twine and a Silver Designer Button were the last details to finish the card.
