Embellished Scallop Heart of Hearts

Today's card was inspired by Jennifer Picard.  When I saw a card Jennifer made with the heart embellished with the little flower punch I wanted to make my own.  What a pretty way to share the love for two special people on their wedding day.

My card uses very neutral colors, starting with Sahara Sand for the card base, followed by a Layer of Basic Black, and then an embossed layer of Very Vanilla.  The Very Vanilla layer was also sponged with Regal Rose ink to add a pop of color, and to highlight the embossing.  Next, I added strip of Basic Black 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon before I placed my Die Cut Heart.  Another Heart was punched with Very Vanilla cardstock, and then the tiny punches are from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  The small flower punches were layered around the heart and then the small pearls were added.  After I placed my punched sentiment in the upper left corner, I decided to embellish that with the small pearls as well.

If you like adding pearls for embellishment on your projects, don't forget to check out the new size of large pearl in the new **Occasions Mini Catalog which goes live today.

**If you don't already have a relationship with an existing demonstrator and would like your own free copy of the Occasions Mini Catalog,  just send me an e-mail and I will be happy to get one to you.
