Birthday Pinwheel

Cut any size square to make your own pinwheel.  No punches or Big Shot needed!

I embossed the Daffodil Delight Cardstock with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder and layered my pinwheel and sentiment on top.  To make the pinwheel I started with a piece of Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper that I cut into a 3 x 3 square.  I then punched a 1" circle in Real Red cardstock and placed it in the center of the square.  Taking my paper snips I started to make a cut on each corner on the diagonal.  To keep each fold in place I added some snail adhesive to my 1" circle.  After all of the corners were folded in I punched a 3/4" circle and placed this on top of the pinwheel securing it with a Daffodil Delight brad.  An extra piece of DSP was cut to make the small handle.  For a larger pinwheel you just need to start with a bigger square.

3 x 3 square of DSP (opposite side of what is shown in card)
with 1" circle placed in center

Four cuts placed on a diagonal that reach to the tip of the circle

Sides folded over to make pinwheel
