Tea Time Gift Bags

These cute gift bags were made for my upcoming craft fairs.  They were really easy to make using the Tea Time Simply Scappin' kit.  So, even if you don't do a lot of scrapbooking, these kits are great for other uses too.

I purchased the plain white gift bags at a local craft store, and decorated them with the cardstock, designer series paper, and self-dhesive die-cut designs in the Tea Time kit.  With the addition of a few punches and some ribbon, everything else used was from the kit.

I really like finding other ways to use my Stampin' Up! products.  The Simply Scrappin' kits coordinate so well that I love to buy them even though I don't do a lot of scrapbook projects, and always find a good use for them.

The following were used:
Simply Scrappin':  Tea Timne #122374
Punches:  Scallop Edge Border #119882, Decorative Label #120907
Ribbon:  Pretty in Pink 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain #119775, Old Olive 5/8" Satin #117292, White Baker's Twine #124262

A tin full of button magnets!

It's that time of the year again, when I start getting ready for my Spring Craft Fairs.  In addition to Easter items, I like to make items that can be used during the spring and summer months.  So, for the next few days I will be posting some of the non-Easter items I will be selling at the upcoming fairs.

These button magnets were really easy to make.  I cut the fabric using my Big Shot and the small scallop in the Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die.  Using a glue gun, I attached them to a round magnet purchased at a local craft store, and then to the front I added a variety of buttons.  Some of the buttons are current Designer Buttons, but a lot of them I purchased from the Stampin' Up! clearance rack.  They were such a great bargain so I bought quite a few packs and I like how they dressed up the front of my magnet.

If you like a bargain, don't forget to check out the Clearance Rack which you can get to in my on-line store.  There are still some packs of the buttons left, but hurry because a lot of the items are no longer available and sell out fast.

I used the following:
Fabric:  Deck the Halls #121716, Springtime Vintage #121817, Spice Cake #124066 (Carry over item from the Holiday Mini Catalog)
Buttons:  Brights Designer Buttons #119747, Neutral Designer Buttons #119743 and a variety purchased through the Clearance Rack
Accessories:  Big Shot #113439, Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die #113469

Bordering on Romance

I saw a really pretty vintage card made by Stampin' Up! demonstrator Michelle Wark and really liked her layout. Thanks Michelle for being the inspiration for my card.

To my Bravo Burgundy card base, I added an embossed layer of Very Vanilla.  I then cut a Top Note Bigz Die in half, sponged some Bravo Burgundy ink around the edges and added some Victoria Lace to the layers.  Next, I cut a Clearlits Scallop Rectangle, and then stamped my image on this piece.  I filled in the leaves with a Wild Wasabi marker, and then punched small flowers with Rich Razzleberry Brights DSP, for additional embellishment.

This is a card that for the moment has no sentiment.  I just made it because I liked the layout, and will put a sentiment on it when I find the right occasion to send it.

The following were used:
Cardstock:  Bravo Burgundy #105123, Very Vanilla #101650, Wild Wasabi #108641
Designer Series Paper:  Brights Paper Stack #117155
Stamp Set:  Bordering on Romance #125480 wood or #125482 clear (Occasions Mini)
Ink:  Bravo Burgundy #105214   Marker:  Wild Wasabi #120975
Ribbon:  Victoria Crochet Trim #118481

Get Well Wishes and a Peekaboo Frame

I am glad that Stampin' Up! has carried over the Peekaboo Frames Bigz L Die that appeared in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  There are a total of 5 frames with the die, and I like the added embellishment to the front of my card.

A embossed layer of Whisper White cardstock was added to my Wisteria Wonder base.  The frame was cut using the Frames Bigz L Die, and then embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.  I stamped my wishes and flowers on a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut it just large enough to fit behind my frame.  A BoHo Blossom Punched Flower was added, and some Wisteria Wonder ink was sponged onto my second flower to help make all three layers stand out.  A Subtle Perfect Plum brad and some Wisteria Wonders Ribbon were added for extra embellishment.

The following were used:
Cardstock:  Whisper White #100730, Wisteria Wonder #122922, Daffodil Delight #119683

Sending Love Your Way

I really like the sentiments in the Ain't Love Grand Hostess Stamp Set.  A great set with stamps for so many occasions, and a great value too.

I embossed my Pretty in Pink cardstock with one of the embossing folders from the Adorning Accents collection, creating the pretty heart border at the bottom of the card.  My image was stamped on a Bigz Die cut Scallop Circle, and the balloon was colored in with markers.  A variety of Designer Series Paper was used to cut  my Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die, another new item from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

The following were used:
Cardstock:  Pretty in Pink #100045, Whisper White #100730
Stamp Set:  Ain't Love Grand #122505 clear or #122507 wood

Mixed Bunch

The Mixed Bunch Stamp Set, new in the Occasions Mini Catalog, coordinates with the new Blossom Punch making it really easy to create your card or project.

My single layer card is a piece of Whisper White cardstock that was embossed with the Flower Garden Embossing Folder.  The flower was stamped with Island Indigo Ink and then punched out.  I also added a smaller circle stamped with Calypso Coral Ink, which was accented with an In-Color Designer Printed Brad.  Before placing the flower onto my card, I added two layers of Island Indigo Baker's Twine.

The following were used:
Cardstock:  Whisper White #100730
Stamp Set:  Mixed Bunch #125535 wood or #135537 clear

Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies and Embossing Folders

Today's card uses another Adorning Accents Edgelits Die and Embossing Folder from the Occasions Mini catalog.  When you purchase the Edgelits Dies you get two different designs, and the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders have three different designs.

My card base of Very Vanilla cardstock was folded in half, and then cut with the Edgelits Die and then embossed with the coordinating embossing folder.  I added some Twitterpated Designer Series Paper which I punched using the Scallop Trim Border Punch.  The inside of my card has a coordinating piece of Riding Hood Red cardstock and a punched piece of Basic Gray cardstock.

Now you could add the layer I placed on the inside of my card, directly behind your cut and embossed front piece if you wanted to keep the front of the card the same size as the back, or do my version for a different look and size for the front of your card.

The following were used:
Cardstock:   Very Vanilla #101650, Riding Hood Red #111348, Basic Gray #11044
Designer Series Paper:  Twitterpated #125406 (Occasions Mini)
Ink:  Riding Hood Red #111836
Stamp Set:  Heard from the Heart #111644 wood or #120006 clear
Punch:  Scallop Trim Border #118402
