A Verry Merry Everything

Bundle and save 15% on the Merry Everything Stamp Set and coordinating Note Tag Punch.  The set has 5 stamps with sentiments that can be used for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a To: From: stamp that can be used for many occasions.

My card base is Real Red Card Stock that was layered with a piece of Garden Green and Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper.  My sentiment was stamped with Real Red Ink, tied with some Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and placed on top of a Tea Lace Paper Doily.

From My Heart Thank You

The from My Heart Stamp Set was paired with the Chalk Lines Set to create my Thank You Card.  The Chalk Lines were used to help create the background and swirls on my banner piece, and an additional piece of Back to Black Designer Series Paper added a pop more color.

The large sentiment was cut out with a Deco Labels Framelit, embellished with two Neutral Candy Dots, and placed onto my card with dimensionals.

The Chalk Lines Set is Photopolymer so it lines up easily.  One tip when using Photopolymer Stamps - I place my card stock on top of my Stampin' Pierce Mat to give a good solid base when stamping.  This gives me a nice clear image every time.

Word Bubbles Birthday

Don't have a lot of time to write about my post, I'm heading out to go with my granddaughter on her preschool Field Trip.  So, I just thought I would at least put a picture of today's card using a variety of Word Bubble Framelits and bright Designer Series Paper.  If I have time later I will come back and list the products used.

Gift Card Holders

Need a quick and easy way to make some gift card holders, try using the precut, and prescored gift cad enclosures made from Kraft Card Stock by Stampin' Up!  You can run them through your Big Shot and emboss them with your embossing folders, add a belly band made up of ribbon, designer series paper or card stock, and decorate and embellish a variety of ways.  I made the following for the Christmas holidays, but you could use them for any occasion.
The two above were embossed with the Stylish Stripes and Northern Flurry Embossing Folders and decorated using Nordic Noel DSP, and Real Red 1/4" Cotton Ribbon.  Current Stamp Sets used were Wondrous Wreath and the coordinating Framelits, and Festival of Trees for my Merry Little Wish sentiment.

Current products in the two above are the Joy from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies, and the stars were cut out using the Star Framelits.

The Festival of Trees Stamp Set and Coordinating Punch, White Christmas and Endless Wishes Stamp Sets were used for my last two gift card holders, along with some 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon and Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon.  The bow was made using the Gift Bow Bigz L Die and made with retired Designer Series Paper.

For my Belly Bands the ribbon length I used was 10" and for my Designer Series Paper belly bands my measurements were 10" x 1 1/2".  I put them on firmly enough so they wouldn't come off, but not too tight that they couldn't easily be removed so I could sell them at craft fairs and show them finished without the actual gift card being inside.

Along with the products mentioned above here is a better look at an unfinished Gift Card Enclosure.  You get 10 per pack and are a nice value at $5.95 per pack.

Baby Time

I've had many requests for baby cards so when I went to get one to send myself I found that I was out.  So, I decided to make a few for now, and to have on hand so I don't find myself running out.   The top one is pretty in Wisteria Wonder, even though the color doesn't show as well in the photo and would make a cute baby girl card, and the bottom one of course for a boy.

The above card was made using the Something for Baby Stamp Set and Coordinating Baby's First Framelits.  The carriage was cut out in a snap and was placed on my card with Dimensionals.  I tied a Wisteria Wonder bow using 1/2" Seam Binding which is a really soft ribbon that doesn't add a lot of bulk.

To cut out the  image for my boy card I used a Deco Labels Collection Framelit and I once again used 1/2" Seam Binding, this time in Wild Wasabi. Both cards used Designer Series Paper from the Paper Stacks.  Wisteria Wonder in the Subtles Color Family and Pacific Point in the Brights Color Family.  These packs give you 40 sheets of paper, 2 each of 2 double sided designs in all 10 colors of the color family.
