Six-Sided Sampler

 

The Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set and Coordinating Hexagon Punch can be purchased in a bundle to save you 15%.  There is also a Honeycomb Embossing Folder that has the same shape as the punch but it is a bit smaller.  I still think it looks nice though as a background for my card.

 

My card base of Whisper White Card Stock was embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder.  I then stamped the different Hexagon images using all of the new In-Colors.  I punched them out and then placed them onto my card using dimensionals.  I really didn't have a pattern in mind, just placed them where I thought they looked best.  This is a fun stamp set and punch to play around with and I see a lot of possibilities for it.

One Wheet Wonder Samples

I will be doing a One Sheet Wonder class in August, and here are a few more samples of what we will be making.

The ladies can select their own pack of Designer Series Paper and I will be preparing the cut materials and adding the coordinating card stock so they can complete all nine cards and box.  A fun project that really doesn't take a lot of time, but gives you nine cute cards using one sheet of Designer Series Paper.

Make a Wish

 

This is one of the cards I designed for a Summer Stamp Class.  It is one of nine cards that the ladies can make in the One Sheet Wonder Class.  They will be using one sheet of Designer Series Paper that is cut to fit on nine different cards, in nine different ways.  A great use of paper, and a fun way to get creative.  There is also enough paper to make a cute box to hold all of the cards.

My card base is Daffodil Delight Card Stock that I embossed with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  I then added my layers of Island Indigo Card Stock and Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper.  I added a piece of Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon and my sentiment that was cut out using a Labels Collection Framelits.

Happy Birthday Cupcake

 

Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper goes together nicely with the Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape.  I used a few strips of the paper, and one strip of the Washi Tape for my background.

 

My card base is Melon Mambo Card Stock that was embossed on the bottom with a Delicate Designs Embossing Folder.  I then placed my layer made up of Whisper White Card Stock and my paper and tape.  To that I added two Labels Collection Framelits.  The larger one is Daffodil Delight and the smaller one is Whisper White that was stamped first with my cupcake.  I further embellished my Framelits using the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and the coordinating Framelit grid.

Really Good Greetings

 

One of my favorite things to look for in the new catalog is new sentiments.  I like the font and size of the sayings in Really Good Greetings.  Each one is for a really different occasion too.

 

My card base is Summer Starfruit Card Stock with a layer of Island Indigo and Soho Subway Designer Series Paper.  I stamped my sentiment on a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock and then cut it out using a Labels Collection Framelit.  I added a larger Framelit cut in Summer Starfruit and placed it behind my sentiment which I placed on with dimensionals, leaving room for my ribbon which I made by cutting two pieces of Island Indigo Card Stock  and snipping the ends.

 

For added dimension I also embossed my Summer Starfruit layer with the Argyle Embossing Folder.

Mosaic Madness

 

This is the other choice for a make and take at my Open House.  I saw several designs like this at the Regional Event I saw in Baltimore, Maryland when we got a sneak peek at some of the new items.  I knew then it would be a card I wanted to make at my Open House.  It showcases the Mosaic Madness Embossing Folder, Stamp Set, and Punch.  It is a really easy and quick card to make too.

 

My card base of Baked Brown Sugar was embossed with the Mosaic Madness Embossing Folder.  I then punched Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Island Indigo Card Stock with the Mosaic Punch.  I stamped some of the images from the Mosaic Madness Stamp Set on Whisper White Card Stock and then punched those out too.  I also ran one of the Island Indigo punched pieces back through my Big Shot to emboss that as well.  

 

You could also layer all of your punched pieces on your card stock and line them up with your embossing folder to give them all the raised image for a different look.

Wildflower Meadow Embossed Card

 

This is one of the cards the ladies can make at my Open House next Monday.  It showcases the new Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder, and some new colors.  I wanted a simple, yet pretty card to have as one of my make and takes, because the day is filled with a lot of extra activities too.

 

My card base is Whisper White Card Stock, with a layer of Calypso Coral.  I took another layer of Whisper White and ran it through my Big Shot using the Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder.  I then had a nice raised image that I could sponge some ink over to bring out the image.  I also used an Itty Bitty Shapes Punch to add a Crisp Cantaloupe  center to the large flowers.
