New Colors Coming Soon!

Some more information on the upcoming color revamp:

When the new Annual Catalog goes live on June 1st you will see not only new products but so many new colors.   With the addition of these new colors they had to retire some that have been around for awhile.  The retiring colors are listed below:

Retiring Colors

On May 31, 2018, thirteen colors are retiring.
  • Always Artichoke
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Elegant Eggplant
  • Island Indigo
  • Marina Mist
  • Perfect Plum
  • Pink Pirouette
  • Rose Red
  • Soft Sky
  • Tangerine Tango
  • Tempting Turquoise
  • Wild Wasabi
  • Wisteria Wonder

A few more details about the colors:

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.

In order to keep the color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection. They also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections below.

There are no changes to the In Color program. Every two years Stampin' Up! will continue to introduce five new In Colors that will be available for the ensuing two years.

They also have previous In Colors that are returning and joining their core colors:
  • Mossy Meadow
  • Poppy Parade
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Coastal Cabana
  • Mint Macaron
  • Blackberry Bliss

Stampin' Up! demonstrator Mary Fish made these great color comparison charts you see below and I wanted to share them with you so you could see the difference in colors.  Sometimes when we look at just the new color we think it looks like another color we already have.  These comparison charts really help see how they are similar, and also how they are different.  Thank you Mary!

In addition to new colors, Stampin' Up! also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they improved the formula of the ink, as well! You will still be able to use your current ink pads and if you do order any new ones you will get the new design.  Any ink refills you have can be used on either style of pad.

With all of this new information, and with the arrival of my preorder of new products I haven't been on my blog posting as much as I would like.  I am busy finishing up preparations for my last stamp class using the retiring products, and busy preparing for my June Open House.  I hope in the meantime this information is useful to you and if you have any questions about any of these exciting changes comment below or send me an e-mail.
