Hello Love

Before I start my post I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year, and hope that 2015 is a great year for everyone.  I look forward to another great year of sharing and creating and welcome any comments or suggestions on any of my blog posts.

Wow, Christmas and New Years just ended so I guess it's time to start preparing for the next holiday, Valentine's Day.  My January stamp class is only a week and a half away and I haven't received all of my new Valentine stamps and accessories yet, but there are a lot of great option using stamp sets from the Annual Catalog.  Today's card was made using the Hostess Stamp Set called Hello Love, and I thought the pretty stamp I used today would be perfect for making a Valentine Card.  This set also has great stamps for birthday, baby, wedding, and more.

In addition to my stamped image I punched some hearts using my  Sweetheart Punch and some retired Red Glitter Paper.  If you don't have Red Glitter Paper, Real Red Card Stock would also do the trick, or you could use some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to give it a shimmery look.  I tied a piece of Real Red 1/4" Cotton Ribbon around the one end, tied on my valentine sentiment with Linen Thread and used Dimensionals to raise up my hearts.
