Stampin' For a Cause

On Monday, August 4th I will be helping an organization called Humble Hearts for Hope make cards for deployed troops.  The goal is to make 500 cards in one night so I tried to design cards that won't take a lot of time, but will still be a nice surprise in their care packages.

The cards that will be made can be used by the troops to send home to their family and friends.  I can't imagine how hard it is to be away from your loved ones on special occasions, so hopefully getting these cards to send home to those they are missing will make the separation a bit easier.

Here are two of the cards we will be making.

We will also be making Thank You Post Cards to let them know how appreciative we are for all they do, and other birthday, thank you, and thinking of you cards as well.  If you are a local blog reader the event is being held on August 4th in Wind Gap, PA.  Please comment or message me if you would like to help and I will be glad to give you more information.

To make the cards I used the Work of Art Stamp Set #134111 w or #134114 c.  I also used Real Red and Night of Navy Ink to give the cards a Patriotic Theme.  The sentiments are from a retired set.
