Flower Magnets

Using my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and magnet sheets it was easy to create refrigerator magnets.  Wouldn't these flower magnets be pretty for mom for Mother's Day?

For the magnets that use the Flower Daisies #2 Bigz Die - the one in the upper left and the one in the center - I first cut the small scallop from the Scallop Circle #2 die with the magnetic backing.  To do this all you need to do is cut your magnetic sheet to the size needed for your die, attach the cardstock or designer paper to it, and run it through your big shot.  Now, I have the part of the flower that is magnetic.  I then used Designer Series Paper and ran that through the Flower Daisies #2 Die for the top part of the magnet.  For these two flowers only I added magnetic backing that was not cut with the original die used for the flower.  I needed to attach the scallop circle to the back for better hold.  The other magnets were made with the Flower Folds and Fun Flowers Dies.  Because the flowers were much larger, I just attached the magnetic sheet to the larger one and layered the other flowers on top.  Some large buttons and vintage flower embellishments were added to the center to finish the magnets, and placed on with Sticky Strip for extra hold.

Materials used to create the magnets:
