Craft Fair Display


I know I haven't been posting regular projects the last few weeks.  Well, the reason for that is I have been very busy getting things ready for my fall craft fairs.  I had my first one on Saturday, and below are pictures of my display.  It was a great event, and I have two more coming up.  I love this time of year.  Yes it is really busy, but since I love creating with my Stampin' Up! products it is the perfect time of the year.  I also meet so many great people at these events and it is always fun to inspire others and share what I love doing.  If you have any questions about any of the products you see below feel free to leave me a comment.  Some of the items were made with retired products but they are still some of my favorites and I just can't seem to part with them.

Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies



I have had a few customers already take advantage of the preorder for the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I should also be receiving mine in a little while and will post projects using them, but for now, here is a very short video that shows you a few samples of projects using the new Framelits.   You can order them for yourself, and they would also make a great gift!  They will be in the new Annual Catalog that will be coming out in June of 2017, but since Stampin' Up! is releasing them ahead of schedule you can get them now.  They go with so many of the current products in both the Annual and Holiday catalogs that you really don't want to wait.

Candy Cane Christmas



For today's card I used some Candy Cane Lane and Presents & Pinecones Washi Tape.  I thought they both made a fun background for my "Candy Cane" card.  The Washi Tape goes on easily and for the larger pieces I wrap the ends around my layer for extra hold.  This is a quick card to make, and since I have new stampers at my classes I try to incorporate some easier cards that showcase different products but are not too overwhelming to make.  

I used ink and paper that matches with the colors in the Washi Tape, and since the colors are listed under the products in the catalog you know what will coordinate and make your project look great.  Another hint for new stampers and another reason why I love Stampin' Up! products.

Starting today, November 1st, Stampin' Up! is releasing their newest framelit die set called Stitched Shapes.  This set of 12 dies will be included in the new Annual Catalog that will be coming out in June 2017.  These framelits can be purchased now and because they coordinate with so many of the stamp sets already available getting them a bit early will be fun.  They include 4 circles, 4 ovals, and 4 squares.  Below I have included a video that tells you a bit more.

In addition, during the month of November the following stamp sets listed below will be on sale at a 25% discount.  




The first 9 sets listed are in the Holiday Catalog, the last 3 are in the Annual Catalog.  These sale prices are for the month of November only.

Joyful Christmas


I really like the large sentiments in the Wonderful Year Stamp Set and you can stamp them onto your card front, and add the coordinating inside sentiment too.

I embossed my Real Red Card Stock with the Holly Embossing Folder.  Next, I cut a piece of hisper White Card Stock and placed on two pieces of Presents & Pinecones Designer Washi Tape.  I wrapped my tape under my paper so it would stay put.  I then stamped my sentiment and sponged some Mint Macaron ink onto this layer for a bit more color.

Warmth & Cheer



The Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Paper comes with 48 sheets of 6" x 6" double sided paper - 4 each of 12 different designs.  A nice selection to layer and add to any project.



To cover the full top of my Whisper White Card Base I placed a piece of the designer paper, and then cut two smaller pieces to add as additional layers.  I stamped my sentiment in coordinating Garden Green Ink, cut out two Oval Framelits and placed this onto my layers with Dimensionals.  

If you haven't seen that sentiment in with the regular Christmas and Holiday Stamp Sets, it is from the "My Hero" stamp set on the last page of the Annual Catalog.  This stamp set is the one Stampin' Up! selected as the Ronald McDonald House set - meaning for each set it sells $3.00 will be donated to that wonderful organization.
