Presents & Pinecones



I used a piece of Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper for my card background.  It is one of the papers on the Buy 3 get 1 FREE promotion.  Don't miss out.

I combined the paper with the large sentiment from the Wonderful Year Stamp Set.  I love stamp sets that have nice sayings for both the front and inside of your card.  I cut this out with a Lots of Labels Framelit and sponged some Mint Macaron Ink around the edges.  I also tied on a piece of Mint Macaron 3/8 Sheer Linen Ribbon and tied on a ribbon using some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.  

A quick and easy card to make with pretty background paper and nice sentiment.

Candy Cane Lane Christmas



Now is a good time to stock up on your Designer Series Paper.  Buy 3 packs of select DSP and get 1 pack free.  The Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper I used in today's post is on the list.

I layered two different sheets of the paper onto a piece of Real Red Card Stock.  I added some Real Red Stitched Satin Ribbon between the layers, and tied a bow using a piece of Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine and placed it on my card using a Glue Dot.  My sentiment is from the Cookie Cutter Stamp Set and it was punched out using the Decorative Label Punch.

Stitched with Cheer Project Kit - Video



I will be having a class using the Stitched with Cheer Project Kit on Monday, November 16th at 6 PM and again on Wednesday, November 18th at 10 AM.  If you live near me and would like to join us, please let me know as soon as possible so I can order your kit.  You will have use of all of my holiday stamp sets, thinlits and ink and all of the contents of your own individual kit which makes 18 cards.  Cost for the class is $30.00.  Stampin' Up! has produced the following video and I hope you enjoy watching it and I look forward to working with everyone to create these holiday cards.

Cookie Cutter Christmas



The Cookie Cutter Stamp Set and coordinating Punch can be purchased together in a bundle to save you 10%.  I used both for today's card.

My card base of Whisper White Card Stock was layered with a piece of Real Red Card Stock and Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.  I embossed the Real Red layer with the Softly Falling Enbossing Folder and added a piece of Emerald Envy Silky Taffeta Ribbon.

I stamped my Santa using Memento Black Ink and colored him in with my markers.  He was punched out and then placed onto a Layer Framelit using Dimensionals.

Christmas Magic



The images in the Christmas Magic Stamp Set are great for coloring and giving them your own special touch.  They also remind me of past stamp sets that Stampin' Up! used to carry and I am so glad they started bringing some of these types of images back.  

My card base of Very Vanilla Card Stock was stamped right in the center with the train.  I then took a piece of This Christmas Designer Series Paper (in the Annual Catalog), and cut out an oval so you could the image.  I colored in a few of the decorations, added some Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Baker's Twine and to finish it off I tied on a Mini Pinecone.  

Note -  This Christmas Designer Series Paper comes with 24 sheets - 4 each of 6 double-sided designs.  A great value for such pretty holiday paper.
