Masculine Birthday Card

A quick post today to show you another masculine birthday card I made for my April Stamp Classes.  I don't have time to post all of the details, but wanted to at least share the picture.  A little bit of shading around the lighthouse to resemble the sky, and Oval Framelits to cut it out.  A Black and White design for this birthday card.

Watercolor Words

I really like the way the Watercolor Words stamped image look hand written, and I like the large size as well.  It makes for a nice focal point for my card.

I took my Tangelo Twist Card base and cut a large oval out of the center.  The layer underneath is Very Vanilla Card Stock, and that is the inside opening of my card.  This is where I stamped my birthday greeting.  To dress it up a bit I punched some flowers with the Blossom Bunch Punch using Sweet Lil' Things Designer Series Paper.  I added some Candy Dots to the center of my flowers and placed the larger flowers on the front of the card on with Dimensionals.

Going Global - Masculine Birthday Card

I always have requests for masculine birthday cards at my monthly classes and this is the one I prepared for last month's class.  The Going Global Stamp Set, World Traveler Embossing Folder, and Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack all coordinated perfectly and were used to create my birthday card.

To my Crumb Cake Card Stock card base I added a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock that I embossed with the World Traveler Folder.  I then sponged some Crumb Cake Ink to this layer to add more texture, cut some of the Designer Series Paper with a Framelit and layered on a piece of Hello Honey 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon.  My compass was stamped onto a piece of Delightful Dijon Card Stock and then cut out using a Circle Framelit.  I added a Candy Dot to the center of the compass, placed it onto my card with Dimensionals, and then added my sentiment to finish the card.

Birthday Bouquet

I really like the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  The patterns and colors are so festive and I used them to layer and create the front of my birthday card.

A few punched balloons were added to the layer that holds  my sentiment, but other than that, the paper says it all.

Flower Medallion Birthday

When the new Occasion Catalog came out I was so busy creating with all of my new products, but I wanted to start using some of my other favorites from the Annual Catalog.  Soon, some of these products may be retiring, and I want to make sure to use them at my classes and for my own personal use, just in case they aren't being carried over into the new Annual Catalog on June 1st.

My card base is Very Vanilla Card Stock that I layered with a piece of Bermuda Bay Card Stock embossed with my Boho Chic Embossing Folder.  I punched my flowers with the Flower Medallion Punch and Bohemian Designer Series Paper.  I added some Metal Rimmed Pearls to the center of each flower and placed on a piece of retired ribbon.  My sentiment is from the Tag Talk Stamp Set and was stamped using Blackberry Bliss Ink and punched out with the Label Bracket Punch.
