Bloomin' Heart Thinlits



Don't forget about your Bloomin' Heart Thinlits in the Annual Catalog for your Valentine cards. When a new catalog comes out I sometimes forget that I already have a lot of current product that I can use for the holidays that are dominant in the new mini catalogs.  I paired the cut heart with a piece of Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper which is also in the Annual Catalog. My sentiment from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set was punched out using the Classic Label Punch.

To finish the card I used some retired ribbon and candy dots for a bit more embellishment.

Another Sealed with Love Valentine

Another Beautiful You Card

I guess you can tell by my last few posts that my favorite stamp set in the Occasions Catalog is the Beautiful You  Set.  I am offering three different cards using this set at my stamp class this week, and here is the third card.  This time I cut out the dress to add some more style to the card.  It was really easy to do and I think it adds such a different look.



I used a piece of Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper to make her dress.  I did this by first stamping the girl onto my Whisper White Card Stock, and then stamping her again onto my Designer Paper.  I then cut the dress and hat out using my paper snips and placed this onto my stamped piece on the Whisper White paper.  To finish the card I layered on some more cordinating card stock and designer paper and added my sentiment.  I thought the  inside sentiment from the Balloon Celebration stamp set was perfect to go with my stylish lady on the front.  

I also added some small pearls to the front layer, not for embellishment, but to cover up a smudge of ink.  No one else will know this wasn't the plan in the first place, and I think they actually made a nice finishing touch!

Another Beautiful You Card



I wanted to make another card using the Beautiful You Stamp Set.  I made this for a Get Well Card for my neighbor who just had surgery.  

My card base is Whisper White and I layered it with a piece of Basic Black Card Stock, and then another piece of Whisper White.  I added some Playful Palette Washi Tape to the ends of my Whisper White layer and stamped my images.  I really like adding just a bit of color to the girl with the watermark stamp and for this card I used Peekaboo Peach Ink and Basic Black Archival Ink.

Beautiful You

I hope everyone reading my blog had a very Merry Christmas and has a healthy and happy New Year. I really enjoyed my time with family and friends, but I must admit I did miss my stamping and I am glad to start the new year with a card showcasing one of my favorite new stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog.  It is called "Beautiful You", and the possibilities to make beautiful cards for many occasions are endless and it is a set I know will be put to good use.



I stamped my lady using Sweet Sugar Plum Ink, and my background watermark was stamped with Blushing Bride Ink.  These two colors coordinated with the piece of Playful Palette Designer Series Paper I layered in the back, and the small strip of Playful Palette Washi Tape I placed in the bottom left corner.  

The images in this stamp just make me smile.  The lady looks like she is so free and happy, and just the sentiment I want to send to my friend for her birthday.  This set can be yours in only two days when the Occasion Catalog goes live.

Merry Christmas to all!






In my last blog post of 2016 I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and as my card says I wish you "Peace, Joy & Love".   I have been blessed throughout the year with a wonderful family and great friends and customers who have made another year of me being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator very rewarding.


My wish for everyone reading this it that you have a very happy holiday and get to celebrate it with your loved ones, and that looking forward I wish for all of you to have a happy, healthy, and blessed 2017.


I look forward to another great year of stamping and creating with the ladies who come to my classes and share my love of stamping, and also send a thank you to all of them for inspiring me as well.


I will be back in January with more posts but now want to take the next week to focus on family and making more memories with them.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  See you in 2017.
